Modest hotel centrally located - rooms reasonable, staff friendly, quite location, easily accessible however the breakfast is really rather indifferent - limited selection (other than baked goods) only hard boiled eggs, no fresh vegetables at all (eg tomatoes) and one day no fresh fruit at all. Really could do much better.

hôtel situé au centre de la ville sur une rue principale et commerçante. occupant un immeuble de style Haussmannien et datant de 1890.alliant style et ambiance familiale .
I booked this hotel via Booking.com a few days before my trip here, thinking that the cheaper price would benefit my budget. The plan was to stay for 10 nights. Upon arrival, I was told that my credit card was declined, which is weird because my card was good. Called my card company quite a few times and was assured that there was nothing wrong with my card. My room was on the 4th floor - the top floor - with no elevator. The winding staircase is quite tall (see photo) so it was very difficult to walk up & down, with or without luggage. My room left much to be desired also - the toilet seat was broken, the shower was somewhat substandard so I didn’t even try using it, and the bed was uncomfortable. After 2 nights of going back & forth with hotel staff about my credit card and THEN being told that the hotel only takes cash, being informed that the hotel doesn’t have a credit card machine despite that being advertised as an amenity on Booking.com, and finding out that there’s no elevator despite an elevator being advertised as an amenity on Booking.com, I left and booked myself at a more expensive but better hotel. I stayed at the better hotel for the rest of my stay. If you want to save money, feel free to stay here. But if you want comfort and proper amenities, don’t bother.

Not easy to find a hotel so well located and at a reasonable price, but just off the main street to make it a quieter venue. Friendly, helpful staff and comfortable rooms. Good option for a couple of nights in the city.

The hotel is excellent for the price. A little bit outside the city center (you have to take a taxi for 200-500 dirham), or you can walk 10 minutes to the closest metro station. But given it's up on the top of a hill, you get amazing views. The buffet breakfast is plentiful, the rooms are clean, the best comfortable. But the best things about this hotel is the staff. Especially Said and Hocine, who went out of their way to help us with anything from renting a car, show us where we could get beer, and advise on where to stop on our way to Ghardaia. We've made friends for life, but we're not unique. Apparently they have a whole book of comments from foreigners who just loooove their hospitality. Highly recommended.

I stayed at this 3 stars hotel for two nights on personal travel. At check in, I was asked to wait for about one hour at the lobby. While some other bloke was given a room immediately on arrival. The front desk deals differently according to your passport. Even if you're paying the same bill. But overall acceptable standards.

The Hotel was nice, breakfast was ok, (I wonder how the algerians maintain their size with a light breakfast). The respcionist was very accomodating despite his limited English, Connection to center was by train which is regular, witha Taxi rack nearby the Hotel. The rooms laked a writting desk The only catch was that the eating places around are mainly prepared for the local population, but ate fairly well just outside the Hotel. I recomend visitors to buy an algerian SIM card especially if your stay is for a period of more than a week since you get a number of business cards from the locals and may nedd them at any time. Take only official TAxis though they may look expensive they usually provide better services. The Hotel is just next to the airport so one will be at the airport in no time
