As always, the staff are extremely welcoming. We reserved our table for 7:30 and sat outside. We usually sit outside as itâs really cool and you get to see the sun going down while downing a refreshingly cold glass of wine.We were a little disappointed that the fish wasnât available however, we chose our usual hot tapas options which never fail to deliver the goods!Pigs cheeks, Patatas Bravas, calamari, lemon chicken strips, ribs.. omg, the food is sooooo good here! And, itâs well enough for two to share.For dessert, the usual chocolate mousse, vanilla ice cream, keg lime pie.. how full am I? Have loved Paixa from the day it opened. Set in splendid gardens. This is a gastronomic explosion of taste. Starting with the bread basket which is a MUST. Itâs like bread just before biscuits invented. Then moving on to exciting dishes like Quails eggs, Oxtail Croquettes, black pudding with everything, porridge and great chips Expensive but well worth itM

This is our favourite place on Vila Sol, excellent food and service and reasonably priced. You must try the tuna, my childrenâs favourite. I love the steak and my parents rave about the calves liver. Love Paola and the owner is very friendly too
