This was our first visit and we were impressd from the firendly welcome onwards. There is clearly a lot of comoetition but the food stood out for quality of ingredients and cooking. The menu has a good range of options and despite our choosing 2 very different cuisines both were very well executed You can only compare this to mid top end restaurants and as such prices are reasonable

We have eaten here previously. On this visit we were very disappointed with the food offering. My fish was tasteless and looked like it came plastic wrapped from a supermarket. Others had a variety of dishes and blandness was the general verdict. Better value elsewhere in my opinion.

Having been a regular to the Algarve for over 30 years, I had visited Iberico, but this was my first visit to Trio. The welcome at the door and the quality of food coupled with friendly service made it a well worthwhile find. The young couple running the restaurant are doing a great job and Trio is well worth a visit. My Father (with whom I was dining tonight) has already booked his next visit. He often dines out alone in the area and the warmth of the welcome, excellent service, and delicious food means this is likely to become a regular haunt. The wine list, as well as availability of good wine by the glass is a big plus.

The breakfast here has been amazing all week. We have eaten dinner elsewhere in the hotel wanted to try this restaurant based on recommendations by the breakfast staff (to try the cataplana.)It did not disappoint. From the initial greeting on we felt welcomed and appreciated. What a helpful, delightful and efficient staff. They were excited that we ordered the cataplana for they said âit is cooked here just like we would cook it ourselves â. In other words, traditional .... which is what we were looking for! Indeed, it was delicious and tasted so fresh. Our week is almost up. We need to go back!L. Had a wonderful time celebrating a family wedding here. Location is outstanding the wedding ceremony took place on the beach which was just beautiful. It was extremely well organised and everything seemed to flow really well.After the ceremony we move into the reception area which again is really beautiful, spotlessly clean. The staff are absolutely amazing. Nothing at all is a bother they are hard working, patient and professional. Food was outstanding I had fish which was just to die for. I can't rate this place highly enough. Thoroughly enjoyed our day here. Really lovely family restaurant. May not be the best setting but the food and service makes up for this . The most superb fish , with vegetables included. Great drinks too. Definitely worth a visit.

Restaurante Vila Adentro has a wonderful location, right in the middle of the Old Town. Itâs a beautiful restaurant with a rooftop setting for those who want to stay on after their meal.The interior is beautiful, old-world, characterful and distinctive.A shared starter of fresh bread, tuna, carrot and fantastic cheese cost 6 euro, although it is wrong that they bring it to your table without asking you first! (This is why itâs four star instead of five).Rack of lamb with vegetables was the most beautiful main course Iâve had in ages, fresh, succulent and rich, well worth the 17euros 50.My wife ordered baked potato with tuna, far superior to any potato dish she ever had, with the tuna rich and fresh and seemingly baked in. It had lovely presentation and terrific value at 7 euros.A couple of glasses of rose wine at 3,50 each and a large sparkling water at 3,00.A bill of 42,50 was extremely good value.The staff were friendly and hard-working.This was a truly memorable meal!
