Decorated in a charmingly rustic style with hints here and there of Algarve's nautical past, the O MARINHEIRO Restaurant, at Sesmarias in Albufeira, was founded over a decade ago and since then has enjoyed an excellent reputation throughout the region. The
We visited here when staying at the Baia Brande Hotel and was around a 5 minute walk.It was really busy with seating inside and out, a great menu for both food and drink. We ate the steak and duck and both were delicious.Would definitely recommend.

Went here one evening for a meal before a football match. The owners are nice people and the 9.50 tourist menu is reasonable priced as you get a free drink included. Unfortunately, no vegetarian option on the tourist menu, however, the owner said he would prepare a vegetable curry. The starters were nice and the desserts, however, the mains are average, salmon was nice and plentiful though.

Looking for somewhere peaceful to eat in Albufiera, we luckily came across C19, a clean modern eatery on the road out of the Old Town. The food was excellent, the drinks superb, and the price refreshingly reasonable. A little piece of heaven in rather a lot of hell.

We visited here in October and it was the nicest meal we had on our trip to Albufeira. The food was top notch and the prices were excellent for the quality of food that we got. I had a steak and it was possibly the nicest steak I ever ate and my wife had salmon which she said was beautiful. We waited 15 minutes to get to a table and it was well worth the wait. Waiting staff were very friendly and waiting times for food were at a minimum. The only disappointment was that it was closed for the remaining 2 nights we were in Albufeira!!!

Nikaia the ones coming from Nice France. But for being French they also speak Portuguese, English ... You will find there a lot of Belgians and French. They have very good (French) wines and real champagne. The chef makes the pizza himself and they are good. Kitchen is nothing special all kind of food, but all quite acceptable. But guys being French why dont you make your resto nicer, more attractive, French music ... (clean also toilets!)Thank you for your comment and for your improvement tips for the establishment. We are sorry if previous guests did not leave the toilet in a proper state. We clean them several times during the day so that no inconvenience of this type is caused.Looking forward to your next visit.

This is the best seafood restaurant in Portugal from the minute we arrived we were welcomed and advised on the fresh seafood on offer and told how they cook it and what to expect. The staff were amazing. The Fish was absolutely delicious and couldnât help looking at other peopleâs dishes so we can try something new next time. The staff will also help with how to eat the shellfish and shell the prawns for you. Absolutely outstanding place.

Windmill restaurant is a unique restaurant inside and historic Windmill. With only 12 seats this unique restaurant has a fantastic sea views and a Unique Atmosfere. We focus on great hospitality and food to make memorable dinning experiences.
I spotted this on TA prior to our holiday and booked it for a treat while we were away. I knew the cost beforehand.Itâs a converted windmill on top of a hill overlooking Albufeira, and a few mins walk from our hotel. We booked for 7.30. Itâs a set 3 course with 3 choices each course. The menu is well planned taking into account the limited choice. The food is very good, but not as outstanding as I would have expected for this price. the goats cheese starter, was delicious, the other courses were very nice. Wine is expensive, but good quality, and Antonio is very enthusiastic in his recommendations. Service throughout is personal and friendly, although a little slow, but lack of room means no space for anyone else other than Antonio to look after the guests. A party of 6 plus 2 x 2s meant he had his work cut out. There are only 12 covers, and tables for two have window seats looking over the resort as the sun goes down, which is lovely. The choice of background music is perfect. If you donât mind an attack on your wallet, Iâd recommend it, as this is the perfect romantic treat at a very different restaurant like nowhere else.

This restaurant never ceases to amaze! We prebooked for our daughterâs birthday, asking for a cake with candles. We got the usual very warm welcome from the staff, all of whom we now know well. Predrinks and shown to our table in this small, intimate restaurant. Two had the tornedos and two had the mussels, with minor distractions from our daughters 4 month old baby. The wine was absolutely fantastic and accompanied the food well. We finished with a beautiful chocolate cake with candles and everyone in the restaurant singing Happy Birthday to our daughter. Truly a night to remember.

We came here on reading previous reviews and was not disappointed. We couldnt decide what to have so we went for the sharing platter for 2 and it was amazing and to be honest could easily have fed 3 to 4 people the cheese board is to die for, we went home with a goody bag of what we couldnt eat aa so much. Patricia and her team made us feel extremely welcome and couldnt do enough for us. The food and wine was superb and great value for money, we are so glad we found this little gem of a place and it is first on the list for when we return Albufeira
