Our wine oriented restaurant feels warmly refined, and is truly a regional debut. Orchestrating a sumptuous evening, our Executive Chef and Wine Guru pair a perfect symphony of indigenous flavours. Local cuisine is richly celebrated and ingeniously update
This is the third time we have dined at this restaurant, and our two previous reviews gave a very positive account of the experience. This time it is more mixed, but let's begin with the good things. The food is still vey good. My wife was particularly happy with her starter and main course. Her tortellini was one of the best she has ever tasted. My starter of coffee smoked duck was OK, but the slices where so thin they looked like they had been painted on, and one of the main sauces tased like a thicker AI sauce. My main was very tasty, a 14 hour cooked portion of lamb. But there was no real skill here to reflect the price. My dessert was pear tart-this was tarted up (forgive the pun) with a tweel. The tweel tasted dry and bland and the cold pieces of stewed pear were unappealing. Once again my wife way more that happy with her purple chocolate dessert. The service overall was very good, although because we were 9mins early we were asked to wait outside in the corridor. Whoever turns up anywhere exactly on the minute? There is a very good wine list particularly for wines form Portugal. I asked the wine waiter's advice for a Portugese white wine similar to a Burgundian style. He gave us two options and we were allowed to taste both. These were two quite expensive wines-110 and 95 euro respectively, but they were quite good. Now given all the mystique around wine and serving wine, our first glasses were served at an appropriate temperature, but the wine was left in an ice bucket and by the time of the last glass it was too cold and tasted of nothing. The restaurant was half empty surely this could have been avoided by giving the process some attention. Now some of the above may sound a bit picky, but the prices this restaurant charges are the same as other michelin starred restaurants in the area (and above some). For 275 euros for two, I expect much more; more quality, more consistency, more courtesy for customers slightly early, and more attention to the care and delivery of expensive wines. We previously wrote that this restaurant was not ready for a michelin star but that it was getting there, but now it has gone backwards, and I'm afraid we won't be back.Dear Guest,We were devastated to hear that we have failed to meet your expectations; all your valuable inputs have been put forward to the team.We wish nothing more than to be given the opportunity to revert your last review, do advise should you return to EMO in a near future.Life is a journeyMarta Mota Pinto

Restaurant Location: GPS: Latitude-37 ° 06 '44.84 Nlongitude - 8 º 06' 49.81 W Come meet some of our specialties: shrimp in pumpkin w / grated cheese, lamb and tangine Rooster field, muamba, cataplana croaker. We have an offer for you!
Having read glowing reviews we took a taxi there. We were very disappointed. Couvert (very plain breads and pate) was very ordinary and at â¬8 each quite expensive. Given complimentary starter but would have preferred to pay the â¬8 for a starter of choice. Main course was average and a couple of items were not available that night.Está a mentir não pagou o couvert ( pão, agua, pate, doce, e queijo da ilha dos Acores ) não pagou nada por tudo isto ! as entradas são 8 euros mas inclui a sobremesa que é oferta ! certo ? a proprietaria.

BJâs was recommended to us by as a friend as her most favourite beach bar ever. This sounds like high praise but having visited last night we agree.Being October things are starting to wind down and they serve food until 18.00 in the evening. During the summer it must be much later. I would suggest booking especially if you wanted a table at the edge of the beach which our table was.The team running the place were welcoming and unhurried but very efficient, a great combination. We all ate off the fresh fish board which was a little more expense but was first class. We didnât hold back on starters main, and two of the group had starters. For the 4 of us including all drinks and a tip it came to â¬190.Towards the end of the meal the sun set giving the most amazing set set we have seen for a long time.Well worth a visit.I am so pleased that you enjoyed your visit to Bjs and I really hope we can welcome you again soon.

Cafe Del Arte is a bit diferente then other bars & restaurants in the area, The setting is special as your dinning or relaxing under mature vine trees with relaxing non comercial music, our menu varies time to time and is not large but all we prepare is h
We visited Cafe del Arte with family that have been visiting this restaurant for a few years now and we were not disappointed. On a Wednesday evening they bbq and provide live entertainment. The bbq is brought directly to your table with side salads whilst you sit and enjoy the entertainment. You feel as though you are sitting on a set of Mamma Mia under the grape vines and white tables and chairs! Service is very friendly and then the entertainment begins ........ usually Krassie ( one of the owners) plays violin to diners but on this occasion there was also an acquaintance of his from Dubai, a fabulous musician who played harp whom he accompanied. It was truly breathtaking. There are also dancers who put on a good show. We had the best evening and will certainly return on our next visit to Villamoura. Obrigado.

Restaurant in Quarteira, in the old Town near the Church, since itâs opening in May 83, Restaurant âO Arcoâ has always been true and innovative with regards to the quality served. We created our recipes from Starters, Fish and Meat courses to our Desserts
This was one of our favourite meals during our stay in Vilamoura. This is a traditional Portuguese restaurant with an excellent menu, everything sounded amazing so it was hard to know what to choose. We had the fish soup to start the sea bass Algarvian style for mains and the homemade ice cream for desert, everything was amazing. John the owner is such a nice person, he served our table himself and recommended a lovely wine that went very well with the fish. We will definitely return next time we are in Vilamoura and would highly recommend giving it a try.

French modern cuisine, unique gastronomique restaurant casual chic (good value), romantics terrace, roof top bar with sunset view and cocktails...
We Have visited this restaurant several times before in previous years, and enjoyed our meal. However on this occasion we found the menu a bit limited and perhaps a little bit too fussy . The food accompaniment / combinations on the various dishes were also a little too rich , although to be fair my choices were perhaps wrong. I i took a very heavy goats cheese in pastry as a starter , and followed it with another pastry dish for my main- lamb pie! Not a good pairing !

Having spent an afternoon in Quarteira and not being familiar with the area we turned to TripAdvisor for inspiration. Thankfully the reviews on here do this place justice and we enjoyed one of the best meals we've ever had in Portugal. The outdoor seating area enjoys a great ambiance and reminded us of being in the grounds of a farmhouse deep in the French countryside. If we're ever in the Quarteira area again this place would be our first port of call for some great food.
