Restaurant serves great variety of quality traditional dishes. Portions are large so one meal is enough for two not so hungry bellies...service was a bit on the slow side but it was busy when we went. We had to ask for something twice as it was forgotten.

The restaurant is in the center of all the tourist activities and it has a great decor. All indications seemed that we would get a good meal. We were a big group and had ordered ahead of our arrival. All seemed elegantly decorated and positioned. However the food was less than stellar. Much of the food was drowning in oil . We had salmon which was not well cooked but all was very pretty to look at. The best was the wine.

Quiet restaurant in the main street of Cacilhas, near Almada. Friendly service, good food, especially fish or seafood. Really good.

I have a second home close to the Restaurant , my first visit was before they doubled in size and cooked the fresh fish on the grill outside, it was perfect, every time I visit my home i go to the restaurant, it has slowly declined ! My most recent visit last week was the worst yet, I sat at the table for twenty minutes before any bread , cheese or drinks where delivered, this was blamed on the fact that we had ordered a Sangria , the food was ok eventually.I was made to wait which made us the last couple seated at the tables, the plates where quickly removed -even though my wife was still eating her salad . I can honestly say that I hope the next time I visit the restaurant will have changed owners, they have clearly become comfortable and complacent .The two Waitresses on the night where clueless about hospitality .
