We were travelers during the week after Christmas. Many of the favored restaurants were closed for the holiday. We tried Al Foz and found that that it was pretty good. I think it is under new ownership or at least has a new chef, because all six of us had really fine meals. All had some kind of fish and I wish I could recall the dishes, but I was happy with one of the Chef choices. Wine was really good too. I did not pay the check, so I am sorry I do not have a lot of detail. Just know that we gave it a try and we were pleased.
2. Al Grill
Barbecue, take away, barbecue chicken specialties with house sauce, fries, entremeadas, espetadas, entrecosto and Brazilian picanha all in charcoal. We have seating for meals.

Jantar individual por 5,90 euros. Muita comida, prato cheio, muito saboroso e muito agradável (que cheiro bom de carne assada na grelha). Local limpo, bem arrumado e pessoal simpático e atencioso. Adoramos e iremos voltar. Aceita encomendas por telefone, por kg e por porções. Valeu a visita!

We came for lunch here and was pleasantly surprised by the range of grilled food at reasonable prices. Had to use google translate with the owner though; he can communicate in very basic English.
