With typical decor, warm atmosphere with only 50 seats and a family atmosphere, causes the service to be excellent and aims to complete customer satisfaction. Fernando Cruz and his team emphasize the importance of traditional Portuguese cuisine as a form
Sardinha - the waiter, I kid you not - was really welcoming and helpful. Puntillitas house style, shared, made a great stater for two. Sea Bass, again shared, was well presented and tasty. House wines very drinkable. We will be back to try out the Caldeirada.

Love the fish! Do not go here for the nice view, go here for the fish. Perfect for a nice lunch for the whole family!

Every three or four months we use to visit Setubal, to have a seafood lunch. Literally 30 minutes from the Lisbon center, we took the A2 Expressways direction south. After a short walk we decided to try Sab'amar (Taste from the sea ). We choose Choco frito (fried cuttlefish) for two. It's almost mandatory. We had then minutes to taste the well seasoned olives, with very fresh and tasty bread, and freshen up with two ice cold imperiais (beer). Then the cuttlefish "landed", very neatly presented, well fried and dried with a lemon quarter to squezze, and some mayonese to dip. The chips were natural with some delicious spots of peel . We could as well have opted for ice cold Vinho verde to go along the fried cuttlefish, but we stayed with beer. Two expressos to round up a magnificent lunch and ⬠23 for two. Very affordable and very nice staff. A simple tasty meal, to repeat

Novo10 is a rare restaurant, where locals for decades celebrate everyday occasions by asking the waiter to treat them with the best, as a completely natural gesture! This is a remarkable trust built over decades as a local tradition, irrelevant if you are there alone, for work, with friends or family. You know the food will be the best on the day, the wine good and the bill more than fair without exaggeration. Such strong tradition could not be established without the large scale restaurant to secure the freshest fish; without a great and easy accessible location; without unpretentious discretion; without Setubalâs world ranked fish market; without a strong founder culture by family Texeira and his terrific team!Novo10 does not complicate, they just informally and professionally make sure you feel good and get the best fish!Never miss a chance to go here, because such trusted restaurants are scarce. We love this everyday luxury!!

Yes, yes & yes. Food, ambiance and stuff was outstanding. We have lunch and dinner there. Food was delicious. We have octopus salad and clams for lunch ( very tasty). Calamari skewers and American ribs for dinner all very nice presented and of course delicious. As well we have pleasure to meet owner of restaurant who answered all questions about town and give us directions to most interesting places in the town, all in English of course( big thanks Michael). Baluarte de avenida offers big variety of fish and seafood from local town market. Highly recommended. Youâll not get disappointed. All best and one more time big thanks for amazing experience. Thank You very much hope to see you soon. Baluarte dá avenida. Michael Carreira

We were curious so tried it--once was enough. Cuttlefish is more rubbery texture than cod or other tropically fried fish. We probably should have shared one dish as the serving was very generous. We had no complaints--service was attentive and value is great but we now know that cuttlefish is just OK.

Summer, evening, no reservation, 5 persons, all places are crowded and packed full.We made to sit on the open terrace outside, beutifull night, deep in the old town center. >Service was dedicated, friendly and menu wise.>Sangria was good, the starters were great. >I asked for the Dourada escalada - they open the fish in half. and glill it that way.>On the side side we had "Migas" - Beutifully cooked. Boiled new potatoes and salad. Not my fist time in this place - I keep comming because they are relaiable in Food Quality, service and price.

Concept of innovative tavern, where the gastronomy and traditional snacks of the city of Setúbal and the world are combined. Come taste our flavors on the most famous avenue of Sado land.
What a terrible service, we didnât even get to eat. Waited over 40 minutes with no hello no acknowledgement of us waiting, usually even if there is a waiting cue youâd get a hello & acknowledgement of you being there but nothing, there were 2 big tables that couldâve been separated to take 2 extra couples but nothing it was just wasted. Whilst waiting we observed the service to the tables were also slow. Can not attest to food but service wise not great.
