We popped into the restaurant on the way back to Lisbon city centre after visiting Belem Tower. The waiter was very friendly, helped a lot with choosing the food and wine, which was delicious, and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area! The prices are ok, don't expect anything too cheap these days in Lisbon, with the main meal at around â¬15 and the wine starting from â¬12.

Myself and two mid-twenties friends visited, asked for a table and were told 45mins wait while older couples (who they perceived would spend more money) were seated immediately. Servers were arrogant, ask for a bottle of wine and they just tell you to wait.Iâm sure if we visited with parents we would get better service but it left a really sour taste and wouldnât recommend anyone to visit. Great food should also come with good service, donât be so arrogant in your meals that the service is rude

Delightfull, savoring proposals of fish, meat and vegetarian dishes in a welcoming, peaceful atmosphere.
reservation needed - it is a great small restaurant. the door is closed and we ring the doorbell to get in with our reservation. The menu is not big, but every dish is delicious with beautiful presentation. We love the octopus so much that we ordered the 2nd plate and shared, so 4 of us have 5 main dishes. the deserts are so tasty also. Strongly recommend! it is not crazy expensive. the price is very reasonable for the quality.

I learned about this restaurant by reading on the internet, and staying in Lisbon for a few days we wanted to go. Reservation is recommended but we just tried. Luckily, there was a table for us. The view is amazing, sitting near a little beach of the river Tagus, and the food, drinks (good cocktails!) quite good. Really worth the trip by the ferry to Cacilhas, and than a 20 minutes walk to the restaurant. Just keep the water to your right and you will be surprised to find this spot.

invicta madragoa is a new typical portuguese restaurante that offers na all new concept related with the country flavours. The walls made in stone leads our thoughts to the most wonderfull and old places in Portugal. the restaurant`s atmosphere combined w
My friend and I were desperately hoping for a table for two sort of last minute on our last day in Portugal- We snagged one at 9pm by calling around 5pm on a Tuesday which was perfect- we walked up a very quaint part of town and found this little unassuming white door- that was it! As big as a large hall closet, this 22 seat restaurant was just the coziest place! The husband and wife operation have been open for 3 years- they greeted us with some complimentary delicious moscatel, which was delicious- we had the saw cheese and sautéed mushrooms to start, both of which were delicious- we then got the seafood cuttlefish ink pasta and the seafood rice- both were just the freshest seafood you could imagine- not at all a fussy preparation, just incredible ingredients with one huge oyster, and two perfect prawns, mussels, clams and a handful of these mini clams which were delightful- the pasta was out of this world, and it was really only coated in the mild seafood broth- he didnât offer a wine menu, but asked what we liked, and produced an amazing Syrah which we were thrilled with - he ended our meal with some lovely port on the house as well- all in all, a great way to cap off a trip to Portugal in true form- they only take cash, but there are several atms on the larger street nearby- enjoy!

Very nice place, with a good atmosphere and very nice fresh fish. Excellent variety of choice in the dishes of the day, very well made and in generous portions.

The place was really cute just by the ocean. The service was outstanding and the waitress, Rachel, was very kind as well as very professionnal. Seefood was prepared with perfection and the sashimi quality was almost reaching the japanese standards. We warmly recommend this place.

Take the boat from Belém to Trafaria and have a meal at Casa Ideal. You will love to cross the river but on top, you can have a very tasty meal. Try the fish... we got "Polvo à Lagareiro" (grilled octopus with potatoes covered with Olive oil) and it was very very good and grilled Cuttlefish, very Soft and grilled properly. Great cold beer, tasty and homemade deserts. Honest people and mainly, honest food. Kind Service. Fair price for the quality we got. 38⬠2 pax. Recommended!!!

Right next to jeronimos monastery but not touristy. Guidebooks recommendation butwe saw lots of locals too. Owner was super charismatic and selected our meals for us, fresh fish and an authentic stew. Simple food done well, donât expect fussy service, they turn you over quick but for us the experience was a hit
