Disgusting. Bad service. Really bad....only good thing was the wine. The glass they gave me was a glass for water....after eating the plates with the leftovers which was almost everything...well., its been about 15 minutes and they haven't taken off the table....no.no.no...this is wrong.

Casa de Baco is a cosy guest house located in the small settlement of Igrejinha, 18 km from Ãvora-Portugal. It features an outdoor swimming pool and holds wine tasting sessions. Each room at Casa de Baco has its own decoration and a modern private bathroo
Went with my girlfriend and we were surprised by the hospitality and food. Deserts were amazing too. Definitely a place to go again when visiting.

We sat outside in the town square watching the evening unfold. Arraiolos is that sort of place. We enjoyed the local vinho verde as well as the local beer. Feeling a little peckish and seeing what others were doing, we chose some little chicken pies - what a discovery! Although we've been visiting Portugal for some years, these delicacies had passed us by; no longer!

I went with my son for a different experience (I made my peace with pork, but too much was driving me crazy), so we went to this nice surprise. The owner is extremely nice, he vene seats at your table in the end to give you the check. You gotta love a nice Italian accent and a good tasty pizza. I didn't love the sangria (my husbands one is thought to beat, it seems - but they didn't charge me). I do recommend and I would go back. Haven't taste the regional food in here, so can't reviewon that. Worth a visit for a nice Italian meal and with an amazing view from the terrace. We got to watch the sunset and it was amazing.

Low-key place with reasonable prices. I ordered fish of the house, it was drenched in fat, yuck. My husband had Secretos com miga, which was fabulous. Next to the seating area is a simple playground where the kids can run around (bring a ball). There are also two football tables that cost 50 cents to play. The kids were very happy here!

After being in Portugal for few days, I decided to order a Spanish typical dish for a little change and I ordered the gazpacho soup. I loved it! Portion is pretty big, so don't be afraid about being hungry after eating it. Really nice staff. All other dishes looked delicious!

Tiny restaurant with an excellent reputation. Only half a dozen tables so get there before 1230 or book in advance for lunch. Excellent range of starters placed on the table on arrival (octopus salad was divine). Local red wine was phenomenal, rarely have I had such a good red served as a carafe. Menu specialises in local rustic dishes. Superb friendly service. Very reasonable prices.

We were driving through Arraiolos and decided to stop for lunch. We could not find parking near our target restaurant and boy were we lucky! We found parking near this one and it was wonderful. The quick, light lunch we had planned turned into a leisurely and very filling delicious meal. The waitress spoke excellent English and was very helpful. She suggested the hot cheese with olive oil and oregano - so yummy with the wonderful bread. We also had a ham and egg dish that was my husbandâs favorite and the pork in a typical sauce ( my fav after the cheese). I wanted to try the Migas so we also ordered that with asparagus. Neither of us cared for that. We were driving so did not have wine but it was reasonable and very tempting. Excellent service and food!

We came to this restaurant, as it was recommended by a Portuguese friend of ours. Being french, we like good food, and excellent wine. we also like good service, more rare in France...Well, this is the place you need to run to! Let Ricardo, aka Dali, a young, very good looking waiter, with extreme taste, guide you through your journey. After beautiful starters, indulge yourself with ribs, grilled pork... and an amazing voyage through Portuguese red wine. And just trust the sommelier artist... Thank you O alpendre, thank you Ricardo, we had an amazing experience. A bientôt!
