Esmerada atención, camareros amabilísima y buena cocina. Lo único malo fue que Dj (el del salón Oliva) y pinchaba lo que quería, no haciendo caso al público, con lo que consiguió echar a la mayoría.

I cannot tell you much about the food here since we (3 older couples) left before ordering our dinner. Our hotel had recommended this restaurant since it served traditional local food. After walking about 30 minutes from our hotel we sat down to have dinner around 8 or 8:30pm. There were only 2 other tables with patrons so the restaurant wasn't busy. When the waitress arrived she only greeted us with a rude "que?". She didn't look up from her order pad until one of us who speaks fluent Spanish advised her we would like menus from which to order dinner. Saying nothing she quickly left.
Several minutes passed before she brought back a tablecloth, silverware, and menus. Her attitude had not changed. Our spokesperson ordered our drinks for us. When the waitress left we then decided not to eat there simply due to the waitresses' poor attitude. She brought us our drinks and some tapas (which we did confirm were free with our drink order). The tapas were actually quite good, I must admit. When we told her we wanted to pay our bill and leave the waitress was upset even more. Our spokesperson went to the owner to explain and as you can imagine the situation was tense. We left found another restaurant and enjoyed a good meal with friendly service.

Restaurante Asador Javi, our cuisine is based on the knowledge of the raw material and its elaboration betting on the maximum quality in the product, kitchen elaborated with modern touches where we take care of the raw material and the product so that they can enjoy a great gastronomic experience In our restaurant, we work with the seasons of our products, always playing with imagination and innovation in each of our dishes, we try to offer a different gastronomic experience and that the client goes with a good taste of mouth and above all that repeat, You can taste from simple and simple low-temperature seasoned artichokes sautéed with jibion, to a good wild tuna loin of wild Himalayan salt stone with a show cooking live to appreciate the latest innovations of modern cuisine
Great food with attentive service within this gem of a restaurant.
Main courses were a forerib steak cooked to perfection, my wife had pork tenderloin, again looked and tasted fantastic. Dessert was a rich chocolate dessert that would delight any chocolate dessert lover. Wine selected by waiter matched meal well.
Would love to return there again.

The pizza was very good, with plenty of options. Desserts were also great! All in a messy but nice ambience!

Happily sought this place out after having visited before... The atmosphere is fun and friendly with a mix of all ages.
On this visit, the only negative was our server - she was grumpy and distracted... But everyone else seemed to have a good time and we did as well.

Nice waiter and the food was very good and fine. Better spend a bit more and choose from the menu in stead of the meal for 12 eur. The watermelon sorbetto was simply great!

This town was a pit stop on our long drive between Barcelona and Lisbon. We judged by the size of it that finding a restaurant with english menus/English speaking waiters was going to be a challenge. I chose El Puente for 2 reasons; firstly, it was rated number 1 on TA and secondly, the photo of the restaurant looked like a nice dining room.
Upon arriving we felt a bit hesitant as it seemed like mostly locals and no one greeted us straight away. The first half of the room is a bar with tables and tvs which leads through to the dining room through a wooden door with slats so you are still connected to the other room. An older man was our waiter and although we speak no Spanish and he no English, we managed to order some tasty meals. He was very patient with us and tried to give recommendations on food and drink. I chose the tempura fish with tomato and my partner had Cabrito (meat with potato and herbs).
Drinks were cheap - 2e for beer and 3e for glass of champagne. The restaurant had a nice simple decor of wooden tables and chairs with pops of green colour from pot plants scattered throughout the room. Hanging light bulbs adorned the ceiling.
All in all a good experience in El Puente - good food, nice staff with traditional Spanish hospitality.
