Looking for somewhere peaceful to eat in Albufiera, we luckily came across C19, a clean modern eatery on the road out of the Old Town. The food was excellent, the drinks superb, and the price refreshingly reasonable. A little piece of heaven in rather a lot of hell.

We were really disappointed with this restaurant. Food was good but the service is just bad, to put it mildly. We went there for lunch and we have to wait for 1.5 hours to be seated. There were actually empty tables but people were made to wait under the blistering heat of the sun. Why? Your guess is as good as mine!We actually gave this another try owing to the fact that this restaurant is rated highly in Trip Advisor. We went early for dinner, around 7pm. However, half of the menu is not available! Come on! We would understand if it's late in the evening already but at 7pm???!!! And the waiters? Only 2 or 3 speak English so you have to wait longer to have your orders taken. Friendliness and hospitality, sad to say are not part of their vocabulary.

Went for late lunch on a Sunday and well impressed with the food and the service were very good, caught the end of the lady playing the music and it suited the mood of the restaurant did not get to again unfortunately.

In Olympique we had tapas and dessert, the food was excellent and the staff very friendly. Itâs situated just off the main square but manages to maintain a calm and peaceful surrounding. I canât remember exactly what we had for main, but the home made Algarve Delight and Mandarin Mousse we had for dessert were memorable.
