Granted, since the closing of Namu there really aren't any sushi places in town that I would really recommend, although Fusion does have some successful rolls. However, if you are thinking of enjoying good sushi at Edo please think again. I hate to state this but the boxed sushi at the Superstore is better and less expensive. The rice is simply stodgy and it's served ice cold which means that it's been sitting in the fridge all day (at least). The fillings are stingy and borderline limp. All in all, it's not acceptable sushi by any measure. The location is clean and very large with a huge high ceiling and more than ample parking. The service is fast (to be expected since all they're really doing is opening the fridge door) and the price is a bit high especially for this very middling quality.Overall, I'd just skip this place.

The outside of this Japs restaurant will give you goose bump as they were not so inviting. But when we entered the place there were lots of people dining. Indeed it was a great choice for sushi lunch. They taste so good and yummy that we all enjoyed eating them except for the salmon belly. I was expecting a grill salmon belly but was served with tempura belly which didnt go well. I need to remind the server of this order. So good in sushi but not in tempura dish.
Weâve gone a couple times now. Love their skewers, my husband also really liked the drunken pineapple, my favorite was the beef and asparagus skewer.

This is a truly wonderful location with exceptionally tasty Japanese fare served with care, attentiveness and courtesy. The place itself is not overly luxurious but that is soon forgotten when the friendly and professional server literally rushes to your table to provide superlative consideration and assistance for your upcoming meal. I lost track of the table checks as the service is nothing short of fantastic. The food is as marvelous as the service. The rolls are expertly prepared, well-filled, very fresh and with sushi rice which is close to Tokyo-level of perfection. The lunch specials are ample and very good but the rolls are the real stars, and thus highly recommended. It's a great place, don't miss it!

Come experience authentic Japanese Cuisine in Lethbridge! Sushi bar seating, private tatami rooms, full dining room with tables & booths. Delivery available.
I love that they have lots of traditional seating; it's much more private that way, as well as fun! I had the Miso Soup, followed by the Spicy Sake Maki. In spite of the busyness of the restaurant this day, the service was fairly prompt, although I've been there when they had fewer customers and the service was amazingly quick. Enjoyed my meal very much and appreciated the friendly service, as well.

We took our Japanese student who is here learning English to show off the special Japanese Gardens in Lethbridge and thought we should enjoy Japanese food afterwards. We heard from some locals that Dono would be a good choice so we headed there. It was a holiday Monday and they have a fairly large space and it was full but there were only two wait staff working. Service was completely slow and they got some of our order wrong, taking more than 40 minutes to bring us a single sushi roll (we had lots ordered and this was added as an extra later as we were still hungry). But the food was fantastic. Delicious, inventive, a nice mix of familiar and new.The only disappointment was how slow the service was.

I am always excited to try a new sushi spot unfortunately Lighthouse was a little disappointing. We started with their green bean gomae which was bland. We took the servers suggestion on the best rolls to try. The presentation was excellent and they arrived promptly but I have to say the flavours fell a little flat. They used tobiko in a couple of the rolls for crunch but it added little in flavour. Unagi is my favorite and the roll we ordered with Unagi you couldnât even taste i was in there.
