We ordered a very large amount (27 feet!) of subs for our hockey team when in Banff. The sandwiches were great and ready right on time. The only downside was having to carry them to the car, which wasn't parked nearby because of the shopping traffic.

Aardvark Pizza & Sub has been serving up awesome pizza in Banff for over 20 years. All of our pizzas start with a crispy hand-stretched crust. Our dough is made in house from scratch daily. We offer a selection of homemade sauces, all of which are topped
We had a coupon for the Aardvark, so we tried it out for lunch. Our family shared a donair pizza which was quite good - a good crust, but not too thick. Unfortunately for us, the Aardvark isn't really a sit-down place for a family, as it has only 4 stools against a pretty narrow counter. The staff was nice and helped us make the best of a family of four trying to eat from a large box in a confined space.

Staff always act as though toppings (apart from lettuce!!) are deducted from their pay..Paid extra for double meat as wanted a slice or three of meat on my club sub and after looking down from my phone to not seeing much at all had asked if there was in fact double meat, but of course was lied to. Yet of course was charged for $4 extra for double while barely even receiving even a single portion/serving...Approximately 4:30 PM by a man on Sept 12 at the 137 Caribou Street location.

As a traveller, sometimes you operate on autopilot, you're tired and hungry and you see a familiar food chain, and you just go into the long line-up and wait and wait. I almost did that in Banff recently in the Cascade Plaza Food Court, lining up for some good Japanese food. But then I noticed the next-door outlet, Taste of Sri Lanka only had a couple of people, and so I bailed on the big line-up and went there. I'm so glad I did! Their food is REALLY tasty, lots of choices, and the people are very, very nice. Not to say the other outlets in the food court aren't, but this place is truly special. I had the butter chicken, noodles, a mixed veg, and a scoop of very very delicious egg plant. I was hungry, and the food was gone before I remembered to take a picture, that says something! YUM! So you get a two-for-one: excellent food, short line-up. Yay!
