After walking through downtown Canmore we popped into this gem of a restaurant for a cup of tea, but after looking at their menu we had to order lunch. The order line was long, but moved quickly. The salads and bowls contain thoughtful ingredients that taste delicious together. The roasted tomato + pesto soup was out of this world.

Their menu is two sides of a large sheet, but the options did not feel overwhelming. Theyâve managed to include a reasonable variety of flavours while offering solid favourites - and I did fall for a somewhat common brioche sandwich which was perfectly balanced and delicious. The standout might be the space - converted from an old warehouse but maintaining an industrial feel with black cutlery, stainless steel fixtures, and then gentler modern touches like exposed wire lighting in beautiful round bulbs hanging over the bar. There is a connected brewery with a full glass wall for you to check out - makes for great pictures too!As youâll also see in my photo, they treat their donut dessert very extra.

My wife and I dined here for our 5th anniversary and flat out loved it. We were greeted promptly and wished a Happy Anniversary. We were seated upstairs in a beautifully appointed dining room with a wonderful view. Our server then brought us a complimentary glass of Prosecco for our anniversary. Wine list is limited but has some excellent choices. I ordered the Rack of Lamb and my wife ordered the chicken. Iâm very particular about my lamb as I do not like very gamey tasting lamb, it must be mild and succulent. This one nailed it and is probably one of the best dishes of lamb Iâve ever tasted (see pic). My wifeâs chicken was fabulous as well (see pic). They strive to use locally grown or harvested ingredients and the results are spectacular. For dessert I had the seasonal mouse and my wife had the flourless chocolate cake. Both were wonderful. Coffee was excellent as well, strong and flavourful (probably French press). Service was top notch. We cannot wait to go back as this is one of the finest restaurants weâve ever experienced.
