My experience is for a take out family order versus dining in. Pho Hoan Pasteur was suggested by someone else and since I wasn't paying I reluctantly agreed. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Everything that was ordered was consumed by the person who ordered. My dish was very tasty. Loved the salad rolls and onion cake too.

This little restaurant is top notch. The food is absolutely fantastic, very fresh and flavorful. We both had the combo vermicelli bowl today that has 4 different meats which were succulent and juicy, not hard and chewy like some other disappointing vietnamese restaurants we have tried. We've eaten at Vietnamese restaurants all over Alberta and this is definitely in my top five. The server is quick and polite, decor classy. We ate here for lunch every day this week and will definitely return next time we are in town.If I absolutely had to say something bad about this restaurant I guess I'd say the bathrooms are tiny, but how much time do you spend in there anyway right?

The New Saigon restaurant recently opened and is located on the back side of the old mall which has been redeveloped. I found it to be a pleasing atmosphere with seating for about 60 people. The staff were very attentive and the food choices numerous. Different variations of menu items with emphasis on Vietnamese offerings. It was not busy the evening of June 06, 2017 and hopefully it will catch on and enjoy success. A take out menu is available and offers the same items of the in house dinning menu. Their War Wonton Soup was marvelous and the #23 Saigon Bowl with a mixture of lettuce, rice, meat and vegetables was very enjoyable. With soft drinks, $27.95.
