Things to do in Sylvan Lake
We just had pizza here today. I liked it a a lot- it is very very good pizza we had the Hawaiian, the Canadian unlimited, as well as a normal cheese pizza. All had lots of toppings and were very flavorful. Although they said it would take 15 minutes it took more like 25 minutes but it was worth the wait. I would recommend this as a good pizza place much better than the chains and deserving of eating there again

With over 100 choices of wings, who'da thunk we'd order the artichoke dip? A cold beer and something salty after a bike ride was just the right thing though. Service was a little weak as my sister-in-law didn't get served her cider while the rest of us had drinks for a good 10 minutes already.

Eaten here many times and rarely disappointed, but tonight was such a let down! We have to travel for 30 minutes to get there and one of the main reasons is for the gluten free menu and gluten free beer. So we got the same old lame long weekend excuse, we have run out of gluten free pizza bases, ok what about the gluten free pasta nope run out of that as well, really!! When I did get some food which wasnât entirely gluten free, which I can fortunately deal with many canât, the fries were reheated and werenât very nice and the my wifeâs Pizza was Luke warm! I then had the gluten free beer they have which was 6 months out of date! To cap it all we were outside and although the heaters were put on, the lights were not! So in the end you could see! I really think you guys can and should do a lot better! Especially considering that I know a lot of the GF foods are frozen, people are clearly coming to you because of the GF meals available, so sort your ordering out and my goodness sake order some fresh GF beer! There are A LOT better choices than Daura damm but if thatâs what the franchise says you have to order at least have some fresh ones in stock! If you can order what you want go for Glutenberg. We will be giving some of the other places in Sylvan a try next timeHi, Mitch. Sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with your recent experience. We take this feedback very seriously and would like to follow up with the team involved. Please share the details at https://bostonpizza.com/contact-us.html so that we can make it better! Thanks.

Staying in Sylvan Lake for the weekend and wanted to go for a nice dinner so we chose Joey's. We know the history of this chain, they started as a "fish and chip" restaurant 30 years they have now grown into full menu seafood restaurant so we were looking forward to a nice dinner. We opened the front door and were greeted by a very pleasant hostess who picked up menus and led us to the empty dining room! One other couple in the restaurant at 7:30pm on Saturday evening, this didn't look good. What was more off putting in this 100 plus seat restaurant is that most of the chairs were turned upside down on the tables. I asked the hostess is they were closing early? Her response, "we like to get an early jump on the nightly cleaning." This was definitely off-putting and we momentarily thought about leaving however; decided to stay. That's when things started to get better. Our waitress arrived promptly and took our drink order and made recommendations on the menu. She returned promptly with our drinks (why not the restaurant was empty) and took our food order, again helping out with menu selections. My wife ordered the two piece fish and chips, I ordered a special, fettuccine noodles in lobster sauce with shrimps, broccoli, peppers and onions. The food arrived in no time at all, my wife's fish came with three pieces as the server explained that one piece was a little "slim," my pasta dish looked delicious and did not disappoint. The fish and chips had a nice crispy batter and the portion was too big for my wife to finish. My pasta dish was also vert good, pasta cooked to perfection, topped with eight shrimps in a delicious creamy lobster sauce. We both enjoyed our meals. The server was excellent and charming, she made our evening. While dining several other couples came in and we didn't feel so alone. Fix the problem with the chairs and the restaurant would be much more inviting. Well worth another visit.

Street parking out front and parking lot behind building Rooftop patio open during the summer Family friendly
My two teenage grandchildren and myself were on a mini vacation and enjoyed this pleasant rooftop patio with a birdâs eye view of the lake!Service was efficient and friendly and the pizza was delicious! Ours was loaded with all the usual favourites and topped off with lots of cheesy goodness. Only comment would be the crust could have been a little thinner. Prices were reasonable and portions generous, requiring a take-away box which my grandson enjoyed a few hours later. All in all a very enjoyable experience which begs for a repeat sometime soon!

Cool place. Wood , leather and antlers. Lots of different than usual pub stuff. The wife had the steak bites. Nice chunk of meat and good flavour. Nice presentation. Now the disappointing part. I had the bucks beef burger. Nice bun fresh pickle and salad on it but a frozen patty ? Bad texture, weird pressed shape , Luke warm . Bummer with all the cool meat here Duck/boar. Etc why cheap out on the burger ? Good fries and tasty gravy. Local beers. Would have been a five star if the burger was a fresh chunk of chuck

Take out, Delivery and limited seating
Haven't ever tried this place but was hungry and decided to give it a try. They recommended the Chicken Bacon Ranch. They were pretty busy there and I ended up waiting for an extra 5 minutes (tops) so they tossed in an entire "garlic fingers" because I had to wait. Really? Not necessary at all but very nice, and very good too.The pizza was definitely better than most and the only mistake, I ordered a large and could have easily stopped at a medium. Their large is huge!Great people, friendly and so apologetic for having me wait for 5 extra minutes. Definitely worth trying them. But make sure you are hungry first. So Glad you enjoyed Dave. Thanks for the review. See you next visit.

Situated on Lakeshore Drive overlooking Sylvan Lake, Undercurrent Brewing is a great destination for locals and visitors. A lakeside microbrewery serving rotating styles of craft beer with a delicious menu of gourmet grilled cheese, dips, meat board and d
Stopped in for a quick lunch. This brewery serves up several types of grilled cheese sandwiches as well as a few shareable plates. Four of us enjoyed both the beer and the different varieties of sandwiches. All sandwiches seemed to come with potato chips and a sliced pickle.

The restaurant was recommended by some friends, so I thought Iâd try it out and bring my family for dinner. The restaurant is clean and modern, with a good food selection. I had the double Korean BBQ, with the bulgogi beef and the spicy pork, with rice and salad. The meat was good, and the salad was really refreshing. The only negative would be the dish could use a bit more rice, to make sure it lasts with the meat. Food is reasonably priced, and the service was really great. The blonde waitress with the tattoos was really nice to my children and was very friendly (sorry I forgot your name). Will definitely come back next time Iâm in town.

Whether you're enjoying a Saturday breakfast in our dining room or unwinding in our lounge after work, Mohave Smokehouse is Red Deer's home for great barbecue, Burgers, Tex-Mex and more. Locally sourced food prepared from scratch. Voted best Food and Dini
We had supper here. Service was quick and efficient. Drinks were served without delay and our meals followed soon after. I had the waiter's suggestion and was not disappointed. Somewhat noisy but that's to be expected when it was as full as it was. This is pub fare, not fine dining.
