Full service restaurant past security At the Fort McMurray International Airport
We stopped at the Earlâs restaurant on the secure side of the Fort McMurray airport for lunch before catching our flight. The four of us fit comfortably in a semi-circle booth. There are also regular tables and some people ate/drank at the bar. The seating area is clean, bright, has new decor with a huge windows which allow a lot of light in. The server was friendly and cheerful. Our family group ordered the bacon cheddar burger with fries, two orders of chicken tenders with fries and the quinoa power bowl salad with chicken. Everything arrived within a normal timeframe and looked appetizing. The power bowl was fantastic: healthy and delicious. The fries were hot and tasted great. Our sons enjoyed the strips of real chicken because the coating was crisp and yummy. Around the big square bar in the centre of the restaurant, big screens showed different sports games, which patrons were watching. The location of this Earlâs is ideal for departing passengers because itâs right beside the gates. On our next Fort McMurray visit, itâs highly likely weâll be stopping at this Earlâs for food and drinks.

When I need to have some quality poached eggs, shredded potatoes and bacon with toast....this is the Best place in YMM. The food is always excellent and the service from Helen is outstanding.
The Banquet is Fort McMurray's newest attraction! Bowling and games are all there for whatever party needs you may have!
We had low expectations from what other people have said - small portions and average food. The only thing that impressed me was the service. We had Valerie and she was amazing. If it wasn't for her, I would probably have this review as a 2/5 and not 3/5. We are not picky eaters and are pretty easy to please. We had drinks on the main floor while we waited for a spot to open up on the patio. The downstairs staff were very kind and helpful. It felt very organized and I liked how the front end people took our information down to notify us when a spot upstairs opened up. We arrived just after 8 and it was the end of the dinner crowd. We stayed until about midnight. It is quite a different atmosphere between the dinner and drinking crowd. I feel like this would be a fun place if you were going to drink. The drinks were much better upstairs on the patio than downstairs. There was a significant difference in quality. We had bellinis and margaritas. The drinks were poorly mixed and disproportionately poured downstairs. We had the broaster chicken and the steak sandwich. Both were below average. The steak was overcooked and the chicken was cold - not room temperature, but actually COLD. My friend's fries were soggy and she sent them back. Valerie saved our dining experience. She was kind, attentive and helped resolve the food issues we experienced during our visit. The people and atmosphere are great but I'll probably eat dinner before I come here next time.

The Podollan Pub is one of the most popular hot spots in Fort McMurray. Whether you are a business professional looking for a place to take clients, a sports fan wanting to watch the game, or a group of friends meeting for a drink, The Podollan Pub is the
Food was great, drink specials were awesome.. but unfortunately the service was poor. The waitress cared more about flirting with the male customers than making sure my table was ok. If you are staying at the Podollan Inn hotel you can receive $5 off coupons (to be used at the Podollan pub) for declining room cleaning services. When we requested the waitress to apply the discount coupon to our bill, she refused saying that we should have told her at the start of the order (it does not say this on the coupons and at no point did she ask us if we were hotel guests). We thought this was rude and disrespectful. We would return to the bar because of how good the food and drink deals are, but we would just ask for a different server if we got her again. Maybe the manager should give a crash course to their staff on how to serve customers properly?

Moxie's Grill & Bar, Fort McMurray's casual dining restaurant on Franklin Drive. Featuring daily drink specials, late-night dining and a patio.
I have been here a few times. I have visited a lot of restaurants in Fort Mac and my waitress my first time Calla I think, did an amazing job, and has to be the most friendliest waitress I have encountered in Fort Mac, it is clear she care about her job and customers. The food is good, but on my first visit the fries were cold, and seemed like they were left out until my burger was ready. Returned here a few times since and the food has been just as good and the fries have been warm every other time. One of my favorite restaurants to visit in Fort Mac!Thanks, for leaving us the review. I am sorry to hear that your first visit with us was not great. Thanks for giving us a second chance and to earn back your business. I am thrilled to hear that Calla took great care of you and that we have become one of your favourite restaurants.Hope to see you back again.Kris

I went into Townhall for dinner last night with a few friends. Overall, the staff was very friendly and service was great. The downside is that almost every beer I attempted to order was unavailable. For a bar that advertises such a huge selection of craft and draft beer, this was very dissapointing. I would go back but hopefully next time they have more to offer.

I visited here for my husband's Xmas party, there was about 20 guests at our tables and the service was amazing!! The servers were quick to refill our drinks and the food service was also top notch. Seems everyone enjoyed their meals, I ordered the steak sandwich and it was delicious, we even got to sample some of the fantastic desserts at the end of the meal!!! I would highly recommend this restaurant for this sort of event.

Visited here a few times. First time the place was not too busy and my waiter repeated my order to me which was correct, and then it was wrong when it was brought out, and they said that is how I ordered it. It was an easy fix which was fixed quickly. Then throughout my meal never asked how my food was, and brought the bill when I was done eating. Next visit the place was packed and the waiter was really good and multitasking but forgot about me for 10 minutes before I had to go ask for something. Good food and would return but service is mixed here.

Pros:- Clean environment: entrance door, table, toilets- Decent waiting time for food after the order was taken (around 15 minutes); appetizers (calamari) came after few minutes;- Everybody ordered ribs with fries or mashed potatoes. Ribs were delicious. Fries are fries.- Good service: every few minutes the servers passed by or checked the table visually without asking anything looking only for eye contact to intervene.- Not crowded at all on Saturday evening at 18:00.Cons:- Medium to high prices: 4 ribs (2 full racks and two half racks + one plate with calamari, no any drinks, taxes and 15% tips included was $221.)- Small tables and seats (benches); uncomfortable for 4 adults to seat at the same table.- The side salad ordered was coleslaw cabbage; on the plate was some cabbage sprayed with vinegar and few white color drops of some kind of sauce. - Horrible unpaved parking lot with a lot of big potholes.
