I had a nice stay here - the owners were helpful (even despite the language barrier with the lady) and even helped me out with taxis and bus stations. The breakfast was lovely! My main issue was that the WIFI stopped working / simply did not reach the room which made it difficult for me to continue planning my trip. So I just had to sit on the staircase. Otherwise good location and base to explore fascinating Tirana! If you want to know more about my solo trips and Albania experience, follow me on @betsyandthecity

This was, hands down, the coolest part of our trip to Albania. Far enough from Tirana, but not *too* far, I'd HIGHLY recommend it. We headed out from the city for another destination, but Google Maps sent us on an inexplicable detour to Shengjergj. Once we got to this village and realized what happened we no longer had time to keep our original plans, so we went for a nice long, relaxing evening walk, and that's how we stumbled upon Vila Disha. And we were SO glad because this "mishap" ended up being the absolute best look into the welcoming Albanian culture, the best food we had on our entire trip, and probably the coolest dude we met in all Albania. Seriously, everyone we dealt with, including plenty of strangers, were super friendly and helpful, but Bezmir was the best! He found us walking along the road, invited us in for a meal, let us come into his kitchen where he showed us around, and then cooked the most amazing food for us. It was truly incredible. To boot, the restaurant is a beautiful place, and the setting is serene. After we ate, we talked with Bezmir a while and he showed us his hotel. We liked it so much we're planning a return trip and booking some time at his place. We can't wait, and you shouldn't either. Trust me, this will be a wonderful part of your Albanian visit.

Very very nice hotel located about 250 metres from the beach. Hotel has great, friendly and helpful stuff, beautiful garden and nice pool. We really enjoyed our stay here. And if sometimes in the future there will be nice promedade where you can walk also on high heels :-D (there is a promenade with nice small restaurants etc., but you have to walk in stones and holes and dust, cos there is no road next to the sea), it will be totally perfect

Guest house Keli was a nice place to spend a night. We decided to stay in this place as it was near located right in the city center. Keli was very friendly with us. The room was clean, bathroom also. Enough space for a couple but was missing a mirror on the bedroom so you cant check the way how you're dressed and it's not very comfortable to use only the little mirror on the bathroom. Also the room doesn't has a refrigerator if you want to keep cold water. Breakfast was good with local jams that are so yummy. It was a nice place but can be better if has the missing furniture.

Stoped in Saranda for a night. Found this place by driving by. I liked the location and there was the owner at the front of the hotel. She had us parked. Showed us their rooms. They were all new and beautifully designed. Loved the place on the beach near everything. I wish I was able to stay few more nights. I would highly recommend it. They offer breakfast included in the price. Didn’t have any because we are not big breakfast people. Do go and enjoy
