Opened 2009. Open Mon-Fri 9 a.m.-2 p.m. A great place for lunch. Small seating area in office mall, orders prepared to go.
Looking for food in Juneau on our one night stay we stumbled on Suwanna and were agreeably surprised by the quality of the food we took away. Dumplings were so good and the sauce too. Pad Thai and satay combo delicious and good sized serve......real value for money

Fine casual dining
This our second summer to hit Juneau with our grandkids, as Alaskans, and meet with frustration when looking for a restaurant. The cruise ship passengers well outnumber the residents and restaurants are crowded. Canton Asian Bistro is away from downtown and a delightful option which made us feel like we were in downtown Tokyo at a restful, stylishly decorated bistro. The waitstaff were attentive, and the food fresh. We ordered an assortment of dishes and none were disappointing. I believe everyone will find a good optionââwe will return.
Alaska, United States Food Guide: 3 Soups food Must-Eat Restaurants & Street Food Stalls in Juneau
This is a small restaurant where you order at the counter and wait for them to fix the food. Then either carry out or eat at tables or counters provided. The space is clean and bright and recently remodeled. The food is either curries or soups. Fresh and flavorful. Inexpensive. We split a green curry and Tom Yum Soup; both were excellent. The green curry is advertised as a "medium spicy curry" and all I can say is that in my opinion those little green chilies are plenty spicy! Lots of workers coming in from state office buildings to eat or to carry out. Good stuff!
