We are a locally owned food cart serving up locally caught salmon! Our menu is simple, delicious, local, and includes quick bites like salmon cakes- made to order, and lunch options such as a juicy salmon burger or warm and creamy chowder. Also available
The Salmon Spot is still a winner, located near the library downtown branch. They are good for their salmon burger, salmon cakes or salmon cakes salad with a garlic maple sauce. Their buns for the burger isn't very good. Ask for sauce on the side or to hold it if you don't like a sweet sauce. Their salmon chowder is too diluted and not much salmon in the chowder, more like a watered down soup than a chowder. Outdoor seating only. Credit cards accepted. Basically open to serve the cruise ship passengers. Coffee is available but could taste better.

You need to go upstairs from the Deli on ground level. That's where we met an ungrumpy Mr Grumpy and his wife - both very nice. Great chowders and sides! Quick, friendly service and a nice break from trudging around the tourist traps of Juneau. Well worth a visit if you can find it.

Their daily special of your choice of half a sandwich with a cup of soup with one refill is an excellent value, tasty, filling, satisfying meal. Check what their soup of the day are before ordering. If you come late in the day, they may be out of one or both soups. On Wednesdays and Fridays, shrimp croissant are available till they sell out. Their baked potato is another choice. Frozen yogurt is a dessert option here with different size options, they allow a choice of two flavors upon request.Food quality of what we tried ate pretty good. I did think their frozen yogurt to be too sweet. They have a banana split I haven't tried.
