We just love this diner for breakfast - it's wonderful! It's got all the standard breakfast items, and large portions. It's also got a down-to-earth atmosphere and is frequented by locals (everything from hunters to families). We've had pancakes with bacon and scrambled eggs, omelets, and all kinds of other breakfast items - all done well (perhaps with the exception of the coffee). We'll be back for breakfast again. On the other hand, lunch there was a real mistake. The steak sandwich was a tough little piece of meat with gristle at the edges - I had to take it out of the sandwich to cut it. The promised swiss cheese, grilled onions and mushrooms tasted exactly like a Philly cheese steak - rather than a sophisticated steak sandwich, it was merely a greasy cheese steak with a big chunk of tough meat instead of shaved beef. Ugh. The sweet potato fries were crinkle-cut and very thin, giving them a huge surface area, making them really greasy. The grilled cheese sandwich was made with American cheese (Kraft singles or some such) ... and again, a mistake. The popcorn shrimp was heavily breaded, and tasted more like the deep fryer than shrimp. The onion rings were too heavily breaded and also greasy, but at least the onion flavor wasn't masked by the breading. We'll never have lunch there again (and I would avoid dinner, based on the lunch experience). As for atmosphere, this place has diner atmosphere in spades -- with a dash of internet memes of the conservative style - quite a bit of fun in that regard.

What to do and see in North Pole, United States: The Best Places and Tips
Mess, Chow Hall, Dining Facility. Those words normally conjure up images of some fat guy serving ladles of bland tasteless food, unrecognizable slop, mystery meat piles of potatoes. That is NOT what you will find at this top of the world cafeteria. The Two Seasons Dining Facility is a place of culinary Cuisine. While the food is not prefect, everything I had exceeded my expectations. I have eaten here for several days and have had a WIDE variety of choices from a DELICIOUS beef stew, to Veal and potatoes, to there excellent omelette bar.The food is better than many of the local restaurants and there are many options for whatever you are hungry for. Over a period of several days I have not seen the same selections of food served on the line. Also the prices are FANTASTIC!!!! I got Italian Veal, with green beans, mashed potatoes and gravy for $4.45 Where in the US can you find prices for food like THAT!9 out of 10 would Chow at this Hall again!
