Reviews on Bar food in Fairbanks, Alaska, United States. Its far north location means Fairbanks gets the midnight sun in the summer and the northern lights during Aurora Season (August to April). These wonders define the city, along with winter activities, the gold rush past, Alaska Native heritage, a vibrant arts scene and “golden heart” hospitality. Enjoy dog mushing, panning for gold, floating the Chena River or visiting a museum. Add a nearby trip to a hot springs, Denali, the Arctic or the Interior. Fairbanks is the gateway to discovering Alaska.

We had spent the last two weeks of our vacation running all over Alaska, so when we pulled into our hotel in Fairbanks, Westmark, we werenât sure we wanted to run out. So, we stopped by the RL an checked out the menu. We decided to stay, and we were glad we did. They have a nice menu, and as Alaskan prices go, it was reasonable. Our server was very polite and courteous. Iâm glad we stopped.

I always check TripAdviser for restaurants when traveling. And this time was quite disappointed. The restaurant is old and very worn, and needed cleaned. We had decided to order to go and I was glad we did. As in the Alaska restaurants we visited, the portions were small and expensive.

We ate here our first night after landing in Fairbanks, and we ate here our last night before leaving. It's pretty typical pub food, but the service was really good and friendly. We appreciate not being treated like "outsiders". Ian was especially a pleasure to meet and have serve us.

Good local eatery with tv's, full bar and game room. Enjoyed the halibut sandwich and beer. Pretty good service although it is nondescript outside. Serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Adequate parking. Some local color that hangs at the bar. Food is good
The building was originally a Dairy Queen, I believe, and not much to look at, but the food and service was great! We were in town for a cruise/tour and arrived early. A local resident recommended this location. We had Halibut bites as an appetizer and the Halibut basket for the meal.Only regret was we didn't try the grille Halibut meal. Friends had great burgers. Good selection of beer. Great juke box! Don't recall name, but owner's daughter was server and was extremely helpful and friendly. Wished we lived closer than 3,800 miles!

We have eaten at Brewsters NG twice. My husband had the halibut sandwich twice and I had the sirloin dinner and the halibut sandwich. The sirloin dinner was tasty though meat tenderizer was apparent with fresh salad and garlic mashed potatoes. The halibut is to "die for". It is thick white and very lightly breaded and the most delicious halibut we have ever had anywhere. The service both times was excellent. Prompt, attentive and friendly. Nice comfortable booths. Highly recommend.

I am seeing some old reviews for this establishment, and the spelling on the old reviews is incorrect. The correct spelling is Chatanika, [not "Chatinika"]. I was wondering why nothing came up when I searched for ChatAnika, and then I realized why. I woul
Donât let Mondarosa fool you, Chatanika Lodge has the best burger in Alaska! The Dredge Burger is great, this place is a fun little joint to hang out in. Check out the classic car parked in the back room. A 57 Chevy if I remember correct

We dropped in at Bug Daddyâs to get dinner upon arrival in Fairbanks. We were starved & the burgers looked superior so we all ordered one. They were very good. The place was pretty busy but our server really took good care of us. It was pretty warm in the place too!

Known for more than 40 years of Hospitality along the Chena River , we are glad to have you as our guest. So relax and enjoy our Alaskan Spirit !!!
Summer is over and most of the tourists have gone. I think in the summer this place might be nice with the outdoor seating and river view, etc. We went for a midday meal and although it wasn't too crowded, there were only one or two servers and the service was extremely slow. Friendly, but very slow. The food was okay, but very pricey as it is most places in Alaska, of course, but $24 including tip for a burger and soda? Very old looking and outdated interior as well. I appreciate history and all, but it really could use a little updating.

Husband and I are visiting Fairbanks and accidentally found Brewsterâs. We had already tried to find two other places and apparently directions were wrong. BUT so glad we didnât go elsewhere, God just directed us here..ââï¸. We had nachos which were very good but was a little too heavy on cheese for us. We both had the Apple Walnut Salad and were well pleased. So good. Best one Iâve ever had. I recommend Brewsterâs. Our server was perfect. The restaurant was clean and nice.

Large place with a wonderful atmosphere. Clean and bright with unique items and displays all around. The food was delicious and the menu diverse. Entrees were presented nicely and the service was exceptional. Full bar and some nice craft beers to choose from. I would highly recommend.
