Alaska is divided into five regions: far north, interior, southwest, south central, and inside passage. Although it takes a long time to see the entire state, you can travel through the regions by boat, car, bus, or plane. Hike through the mountains, or venture out on a deep sea fishing or whale watching excursion. Get in touch with nature by camping in the wilderness, or experience your preferred degree of class and luxury in the beautiful, active cities of Anchorage and Fairbanks.

Complimentary blood orange shampoo, conditioner, and lotion appreciated! Late checkout was offered when I queried about needing an extra hour.

Aptel Suites Hotel is close to downtown, JBER and great shopping centers. The all-suite hotel is perfect for one night or for stays that bring you to Anchorage for months. All suites have a full kitchen, living area and extra large bathrooms. Complimentary wireless internet is available and plenty of free parking.
I stay here twice during a two week trip. Quiet at night. Nice room with kitchenette. Friendly, helpful staff. Pretty view of the Chugach mountains from the room. Good WiFi. Good shower with lots of hot water. Room could have been a bit cleaner. Floor needed vacuuming and bedding had stains. I would stay here again.

We stayed for 3 nights. The bed was comfortable and the room had plenty of space. It was nice to have a small kitchen. The shower and bath were clean and the hot water operated well. Coffee is provided in the morning by the front desk. It sits within walking distance to grocery, restaurants and shopping. Not much was open

Brand new 92 room all kitchenette suites hotel in Midtown Anchorage.
This Aspen had ample space. My room had a queen bed and pull out couch and full kitchenette. My kids room had two queens and ample space and a full kitchenette. It was clean, comfortable, quiet, and reasonably priced. The front desk staff were kind and helpful. This all exceeded my expectations. Because of that, I booked again for next month.

We offer two, almost identical suites, each with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, living room and dining room that are located on Katlian Street in Sitka, Alaska. Both suites are in the same building with separate entrances and offer views to the ocean, ANB harbor, Sitka Sound Seafoods and the John O'Connel bridge.
My family recently stayed in Suite B at Katlian Street Suites and found the accommodations to be a perfect fit for our needs. The place was very clean and provided a good stock of necessary items for our first few days there. Shannon was excellent at responding to any questions and was very flexible with allowing us to check in a little early - which we appreciated! The location of this rental is PERFECT! Subtle views of the harbor and right in town so nearly everything is within walking distance. I thoroughly enjoyed my morning coffee on the deck. My only negative is that the location is near Pioneer Bar and during the week of the 4th of July, people got loud each night, sometimes with just laughing/talking but one night there was an obvious conflict taking place, and one night we even had someone throw an alcoholic beverage onto our deck. So if you're staying around a holiday, just know it may get a little rowdy, but otherwise it was very tranquil and we are eager to return! Thank you for everything, Shannon!!

The view from Fort Seward is spectacular! Our condo was very comfortable, with a cozy interior and well-stocked kitchen. We will definitely stay here on our next visit to Haines.

You will love this place to stay in Homer. The Homer Roundhouse is a perfect lodging choice for a couple or a small family or 3+ adults. Homer Roundhouse unique and convenient. It is across the small road from the beach and hidden right in town. It's a small, quiet neighborhood with all the privacy you desire. Almost everything is in walking distance. Full kitchen with appliances and all things needed. It also has a large modern bathroom. Queen bed in bedroom with ladder-stairs to loft with queen memory pad and futon in living room. Walk to the beach. Walk to Two Sisters Bakery, the Pratt Museum, Island and Oceans and the rest of town. And did I tell you... it's the only yurt in the world with a bay window. Everyone loves staying at the HOMER ROUNDHOUSE!
My husband has always wanted to stay in a yurt and when we found this little gem in Homer we just had to take the opportunity. The roundhouse is unique in its construction but has all the comforts of home. We had a view of Katchemak Bay, some privacy after staying in a variety of B&B's, RV's etc, the option of making some of our own food and an easy walk to restaurants and stores. But the highlight of our Roundhouse experience was a chance to see owner, Johnny B, perform his show "Rhythms of the North" which was absolutely delightful. There were just 2 of us but the space would easily accommodate a few more. This little roundhouse is a winner!
