The first thing you notice driving to the hotel is that aside from one other hotel is that your located next to an airport and in the middle of a business park. It’s a quick drive to restaurants, shops and bars in Alameda. The parking lot in the rear butts up to a channel but overall it was a safe setting and nice simple hotel.

10/10. Will definitely recommend. Pricilla was an excellent hotel manager and host to us. We were visiting Alameda for our wedding, and she went above and beyond our requests! Thanks much to her and the rest of the staff for their professionalism and courtesy.

The room smelled like a locker room filled with fish and the view of the marina might have been nice if the windows hadn't been so grimy that it was difficult to see out of. We weren't given the room we'd reserved and paid for 10 days in advance and were told the lodging was "sold out", despite our actual reservation. Staff was not any help and initially tried to pass off the room they gave us as the one we'd booked over a week earlier. I wouldn't have minded so much if we'd received an honest explanation or apology, but we got neither-only excuses.

My family and I stayed 3 nights. The room was very clean but looked like old fashioned décor. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only downside to our stay was that the hallway smelled like wet dog fur, it was really off-putting.

My family and I have been staying at this hotel for years because of its good location and , in general, the tranquility of the area (not the best but quite safe). Unfortunately, these last couple of years filthiness is king in that place, both in the premises and the rooms; floors haven't been swept/mopped in a long time, you find hairs all over the place, bathroom same, the bathtubs are just not clean, sinks barely clean, mirror still with tooth paste spots from previous visitors, microwave seems to be clean with a floral cleaner so when you want to heat something it smells flower..., fridge also not clean, with ice in the little freezer stuck in there so you cannot put anything because there is no space. Room service is kind of every 2 days ? and only if you ask for it; housekeeping ladies are not willing to do much. I watched one of them in particular, barely picked up the garbage, changed the sheets, towels and that was it. While she was ready to leave I asked her to clean the floor, bathroom, etc. and she was not happy doing it, reluctantly followed my instructions and in not a good mood. Regardless beds are good and clean, the rooms are big and spacious, TV is good too, the furniture in the room is useful and in "good condition" in overall, curtains need to be either dry cleaned or changed by complete. The a/c and heater work wonderfully. The reception lobby also, needs to me cleaner and a little remodel would do wonders. I know this is not a 5 stars hotel, but it could be a good place with just a few improvements and more dedication.
