Things to do in Athens
I was visiting from out of town and personally ordered and prepaid for three large pizzas to be picked upseveral hours later by another relative on her way home from work. When she stopped at the appointed time the pizza order had not been prepared. I had five grandkids two of which were scheduled to play in the Dixie Youth Baseball games that evening and is the reason I ordered the pizzas at a particular time in the first place. Needless to say our schedule was totally turned upside down. I then had to leave the Sports Complex go pickup the pizza so we could have old cold pizza at a late time.I prepaid ticket #77 on 05/29/2014 with a credit card totalling $37.06, plus $8.00 tip. When I picked up the pizza I was promised a $20.00 credit and still have copies of the tickets After returning to Idaho and checking my credit card statement the entire amount of $45.06 was charged,no $20 credit. I am mad.
We like Marcos Pizza hand tossed crust. Good quality ingredients. Easy to order at the counter or call and pick up. This location does offer tables for dining in. Convenient location right in a shopping area where do Highway 72 a main road traveling through the state of AL. Coupons and deals offered so be sure to check their offerings before you order.

I like Domino's Pizza, and since we were staying overnight locally en route to Florida, and needed to order in because we had our dog along, I figured it was at least a safe choice. Wrong -- so wrong! This was the single worst pizza I have ever eaten. Apparently, the manager challenged whoever made the pizza to include as little sauce and as few ingredients as possible, and to leave the pizza in the oven (it took almost an hour to reach us) for a long time on a low temperature so that it would dry out like jerky. It tasted like the title of this review. And it cost $20 with tip. I hope somebody at Domino's corporate sees this. This franchise needs lots of help.
We ran through on our trip back home. We were surprised only with the price being an extra $1 than most Little Caesars. It was good, and tasted just like any other LC pizza. The workers were nice enough also.

I have had Village Pizza on and off for several years , in 99 percent of the time it is great. My family and I get into a the kick of ordering Village every week for about 2 months, then we switch it up to another place. One thing I really like about them is their pineapple it tastes fresh. I normally get pineapple and pepperoni on my pizza , where Papa John's and Pizza Hut their pineapple taste like it has been sitting out 4 days kind of hard to it and not sweet Village Pizza it always tastes fresh. If Village Pizza is using canned pineapple I can't tell the difference LOL

My family drives from Huntsville to eat at Village Pizza! Good gluten-free Pizza is impossible to find and theirs is the best! They also have gluten-free wings! Their service is friendly and always accommodating. After we eat we walk around the town square and shop, too! It isnât far off the interstate and worth a stop!
