We stopped here after the Alabama/ Mercer football Game. We had the smoked chicken breast plate with baked beans and macaroni and cheese. The bbq sauce had a good flavor. The portions were large and we had plenty to take home for the next day. It was very busy but the manager made sure everyone was taken care of. Overall great experience and we will eat there again.

Went to the restaurant on a as-needed basis, I need supper. I saw this barbeque restaurant and drove in. It was spacious and about half full at 6:30 in the evening. I ordered a small barbeque sandwich with mac and cheese as a side. The serving size was good but the chicken was chunky cut and not real tender. The barbeque sauce was mild but seemed to lack a lot of flavor. I could tell by the number of people present that this was probably a notable local restaurant. I may have just missed out on the best this evening. The waitress was real nice, she came by a number of times and was busy with other customers. Overall this is probably a good place to eat but it just didn't connect with me this particular evening.

I visited Archibald & Woodrow's BBQ with my two daughters while visiting Tuscaloosa. The place was great- a small, no frills establishment with great Q and friendly service. We ordered a rib sandwich, pulled pork sandwich, and wings- everyone ate all the food in front of them. I ordered the ribs, which were smoky and tender...simply delicious. The wait staff were attentive and helpful, and the restaurant seemed busy for a Monday night...filled with locals. I will definitely return if I get the chance!

Look, if you want fancy dining, this isn't it. In fact if you anywhere near fine dining, this isn't it. However, if you ever want to experience true southern barbeque pit "joint", complete with cinder block walls, soot-blackened pit chimney, tattered screen front door, and most importantly some of the most make-your-tongue-drool barbeque ribs (southern style with tangy sauce), them this is your place. Served with a side order of both a combination of southern soul hospitality, mixed with I've- been-doing-this-longer-than-you've-been-alive attitude.

Ribs. Pork. Chicken. Brisket. Hell, even sausage. All BBQ has the same three basic ingredients: smoke, meat and time. What makes it different is the amount, consideration and attention to each part of that recipe. That, and some really great bbq sauce, to
First time in Tuscaloosa. We walked over to this place form our hotel and were not disappointed we did. Food was fresh and very good. Service was excellent. Portions were a decent size and priced right. We were glad to have found this place so close to our hotel. A good meal is always pleasant after a day of driving!

Full Moon has a long, delicious history of great Southern-style 'que made in the time-honored, traditional way â with quality meats cooked low and slow over a hickory wood-fired pit and spiced with a mouthwatering, award-winning bar-b-que sauce. We are fa
Casual dining - order at counter and they bring food to table (they also have a drive thru.) Friendly and fast service. We ordered combo plates - brisket (a little dry), chicken (tender and juicy), collard greens (ok) and fried green tomatoes (overly greasy.). Added a Moon Dog (chow chow was tasty but actual dog lacked texture and flavor.) Bbq sauce was good - not too sweet. They serve beer and wine as well. It wasnât bad - just average bbq.

Stopped in before the game for lunch. Quaint little spot with limited seating. It was busy, now I know why. We sat at the counter. Itâs an old school kind of BBQ spot. The ribs and pulled pork were amazing! Sauce was great! I would defiantly go back, itâs a must visit.

We visited after a recommendation from a friend. She was absolutely right! Delicious meal and fun, casual atmosphere. Love how the smoker ovens are in the middle of the restaurant and fill the place with the aromas! The sauce is so wonderful that my very picky son asked to buy a jar to take home.
