Okay. Hidden Gem. Right downtown in Madison which means the one street of the original Madison. Went for Sunday brunch with family. If I lived closer, I might be here 4 times a week! Fabulous turkey sandwich and fries. Great ice tea. Omelette, sourdough toast, potatoes, jalapeno cheese grits...best I've had! Excellent service. Not cheap...in the mid teens but well worth it. Excellent and enjoyable brunch!

Wife and I had the single barrel cheeseburger and fries and the swamp basket appetizer. The appetizer was pretty good but small but not expensive either. Never had fried green beans before and very interesting. The burgers were good, nothing great but filling. I would come back to try the more exotic burgers or bratwursts. Service was okay but think they were slightly understaffed.

Without question the worst bowl of soup Iâve ever tried to eat. It had clearly been sitting for a while, it was thick, gloopy and barely warm. That said .... everyone elseâs food looked good.
I was in the area to visit a vender and I noticed that this brewery was just down the road so I decided to drag my associate with me. He's spent many an hour in english pubs, so it really w;an't that hard to do. Well, the looks don't scream english pub, but I have to admit, the Nitro stout was REAL smooth, as my associate compared it to Murphy's from Ireland. We only had one, but if we could have found someone to drive us back to the hotel...

My wife and I visited this Applebee's on 03/17/18. After ordering the appetizer (Fried Onion Rings), we had to wait approx. 20 mins for them to arrive. The first thing we noticed was that they were severely overcooked (burnt). I attempted to eat one, but couldn't, because of the burnt taste. Upon advising our waiter, he seemed puzzled by our complaint. He said he'd bring another other. Another 20 mins later, the 2nd order arrived, yet they weren't much better. They were overcooked, and the actual onion was one thin ribbon which could not even be chewed. For the entree, my wife ordered the Bourbon Chicken/Shrimp, and I ordered the Fiesta Lime Chicken. They arrived immediately after the 2nd burnt order of onion rings, which was approx. 1 hr after order was placed. My chicken was so overcooked and dried out that I could not chew it. My wife's chicken portion of her order was also overcooked. When I complained to the waiter, he said he'd send the manager. When the manager arrived, he immediately saw that the onion rings were burnt, and I advised him that those were the 2nd order, and that the first order was even worse. He offered to substitute my entree with another item. While awaiting my substituted order, my wife had time to completely finish her meal (with the exception of half of the overcooked chicken) and the waiter had cleared the table. So, there we sat with a clean table, awaiting my food. It arrived approx. 2 hrs after our arriving at the restaurant. We have dined at this restaurant several times, but have never experienced such a poorly cooking quality. What we thought would be a nice meal in a reasonable time, turned into horrible food and over 2 1/2 hours of our time. I have to give this restaurant a "Terrible" rating, even though the manager "Jeff" compted our meal (excluding drinks). I would have much rather had good food rather than a free terrible experience.
