I enjoy eating at Lawler's. I especially enjoy the pulled pork and potato salad. Green beans are very good as well. Being from Michigan, I only get to eat at the Waffle Houses when we travel or visit our daughter in Alabama.The Decatur Alabama location is no different than any of the others that I have eaten at. The people have always been friendly (I think that it is just another example of "southern hospitality") and caring when we have eaten here.We had even been served by a relocated Michigander that loves the area and community.The food is always hot and the portions are generous.The only down side for me is that they do not have butter but the rest of the fare is so good that I can overlook it.This may not concern most people but they also post a "no firearms" sign on the door which most times would cause me to go elsewhere but there is no place that serves the food that I like as well.

Ate at Bojangles' for lunch. I ordered two chicken biscuits and fries. The chicken biscuits were great and the fries had a good seasoning on them. The store was clean and service was quick. Bojangles' is a great place for lunch!

Okay! Tune down the techno music so anyone over 30 who already has hearing loss can actually understand what is being said by the eager-beaver sandwich makers! I'm sure it's corporate training to see if anyone can actually build a sandwich......not necessarily correctly, although I'm pretty sure that is the idea....in under 4.12 seconds in the forty and actually break Bo's record at the combine......They come darn close but I'm not sure I've ever gotten a sammie correctly without intense oversight by me!.....I get 1/2 foot in the door! "Hello! Welcome to Jimmy John's! How are you!" ....to get the true effect I would have capitalized all the letters as though I were shouting at you and I know how that feels so I extend mercy!...."I, I , I am okay....at least I will be once I take a couple of anxiety pills after that exhortation!" ....."What can I get you! (Again, capital letters seriously needed!)......."I want a turkey and cheese...with..' "IS THAT A NUMBER 4!!!!?!??!"....."I don't know....I just want a turkey & cheese...' "NUMBER 4 !!!!' ( Followed rapidly by three more, separate and distinct 'NUMBER 4!!!'...Before I can tell her, 'No lettuce any where near that sandwich!', the sandwich triplets have dug a trench in my sub sammie bread loaf and planted an entire garden in it!.....'Guys.....please slow down.... I will slowly tell you what I want on it and what I don't want, okay?.....Let's regroup....You are not going to run a 4.12 on my sandwich.....You just pretend Fat Albert is running this forty and let's take our time, okay?"....Eventually, I get my delicious sandwich and I get it right...But it takes some effort and I really just came in to chill. I'm worn out thinking about it.....As I type this, I am closing shop and going to get a couple of these delectable sammies. Go for the food! The carnival barkers will make you wish it were self service! Only 4 stars because of the stress!
