The menu apparently varies, but it is barbecue. We had ribs (tender and flavorful) pork plate (chopped pork) pork sandwich (white bread). Plates include potato salad and beans (both great). The food was all great. The place is a house and you order at the end of the driveway. What is on the menu, who knows. How much does it cost, that seems random. Overall great experience.

We've been there twice now, and I waited until after the second visit to write my review, in hopes that we would have a better experience the second time. And honestly, I gave them the third star simply because their staff is very friendly and because we really wanted to like the place. The young lady who took our order was either brand new, without any basic training, or she was seriously stoned. She could couldn't stay focused on us longer than 15 seconds and continued to miss what we were trying to order. She was very nice and friendly, but way out of her wheelhouse. All three of us were generally not pleased with our food and the banana pudding, (both times), had absolutely no hint of banana flavor, much less vanilla wafers. All three of us both times assume that it was weak vanilla pudding. And at the prices charged, there simply isn't anything worth going back the third time for.

I do not do mayonnaise. It is the singularity most disgusting thing on earth. Had the romans begun with mayonnaise those gladiators wouldnât have had to put up with so much resistance from those slaves. I have been faced with white bbq sauce before deferred and survived. Folks I was with this visit were having none of that. They do a fine job with pork bbq here. A sandwich will come with hunks of red ringed smoked pork with a firm outside bark. Itâs fine necked. Come to find out it taint too shabby with white bbq sauce either. Chewing away you couldnât tell what color the sauce was but it was good. I didnât much care for getting the white nauseating gunk on my fingers and wiped them off rather than have someone see me and tell the world. But in fairness it was okay. Good sides of beans and fries. This is a first rate bobbycue restaurant.

I really love the smoked wings. The ribs aren't bad but taste like they are mass produced. I am not saying that they are, they just taste that way. Service can also take a very long time, even though the guys making orders are really working hard. Just a few tweaks and it could be so much better.

We recently completed a 3 State, 600 mile BBQ tour. We added Huntsville to our list as it is a great city with, what most people would consider, a surprising history of Space Exploration. It is the home of Space Camp.So, after looking at Trip Advisor, we decided to try out Lawlers. The GPS Nav system took us right to the location and when we heard "You have arrived at your destination", all we saw was a gas station and a cleaners. Well, Lawlers is a tiny storefront stuck right between them. They have a drive up, so you can order to go right from your car, if you like.For our BBQ trip, we bought a pulled pork plate at each establishment. Along with 2 sides and the requisite sauces, we made our comparisons. I swear that the pork is spritzed or mopped or otherwise enhanced with a mild vinegar based "au jus" just before delivery. The result is great, juicy pork. Needless to say, there was none left over to sample later.Lawlers in Huntsville, the other Trip Advisor reviewers are right!Dave B we are tickled pink to have been a part of your 3 state, 600 mile bbq tour! That is our oldest Huntsville location, opened back in 2000. That "au jus" juiciness is the result of slow cooking for 18 hours and hand pulling and vacuum packing to seal in the freshness until shipped to our locations and served up as you order it! Glad you found us and told the world about us. Try our Athens location at exit 351 off I65 in Athens or at exit 310 in Cullman in your future travels? We will waiting on you...
