It is as if all the cook came from looking at pictures and have never tasted Mexican food or their own food.The place is slightly overly spacious but is nice and welcoming. Bar staff was very welcoming while the host and hostess were arguing over something. Staff was training several very new and clueless employees. Salsa looked light spaghetti sauce, but tasted like bland tomatoes. Server apologize for the slowness of food, but did arrive in a reasonable time frame. Food had very little taste but was warm and well proportioned for price.

So Jacksonville is split. There are 2 Mexican restaurants in J'ville and the town fights over which is the best. There is no real answer. However, there is a "fun" one and a "nice" one. This is more of the fun, bust\y atmosphere with trivia, music, and lots of college guys and gals. The food is just as good as BAJA but it is a total different atmosphere. Taco Tuesday, the home of the 99 cent taco.

This is one of the most popular eateries in Jacksonville. The food is good and you are given plenty of it! The prices are reasonable and the value for the money is good! I am not much of a meat eater and this restaurant offers several choices as to vegetarian dishes. They give you plenty of chips & salsa as appetizers, so much so that, if you wanted too, you could fill up on that and take your meal home to enjoy for your next meal. The decor is nice and pleasant. The wait staff is usually attentive to your needs.I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.
