Stopped by El Portal on the south side of town(across from Dairy Queen). Could be somewhat confusing as there is two in town if not familiar. The food was good and the service was good. This restaurant has both inside and patio seating. This is our go to Mexican restaurant and they have a great variety to choose from.

Food is better than any other Mexican in the city. Nachos and chicken and chips good and the cheese dip is very good.

Fairly new place but kept seeing their parking lot full and that tells you people like it. So we gave them a try. Glad we did. We usually have to drive a bit to get good Mexican.We liked everything we had on the lunch menu! Beef Fajitas were good and a decent portion size for lunch, the burrito was great too and the salsa had just the right amount of "bite" to it. The frozen margarita was a bit small for the small size but it was GREAT tasting! Prices were on the spot and very reasonable. Best Mexican In Hartselle we've had! Will be back...

The last time I went to Taco Bell I was disappointed, I ordered tacos and they had only meat and lettuce on them.I went back to the counter and they said you don't get tomatoes,cheese or sour cream on tacos.They wanted to charge me for those items.I just left.
