Vacationing with golfing buddies, had dinner here. Great food with friendly service. Only complaint is that they wouldn't put tables together to seat our group even though the restaurant was mostly empty, so our group of 12 was split. Food was fantastic. Our table of four ordered from the small plates, shrimp dish, scallops, were so good, large plates of lamb ragout, and smoke chicken ere also great at our table. Interesting cocktails to start, overall good dinner

We were a large group and true to form a line of waiters came out with 2 plates each stood behind every other guest and with uniform precision placed the diners in front of us. Unforgettable! The food is excellent, the view across Mobile Bay is a treat and the ambiance of the restaurant makes it a must stop. As it turned out we closed the place up. It was late, we kept the workers from going home and they were as gracious as can be.The building itself is worth stopping to see. There is ample parking. One enters along a very long ramp.Hi Guest!Thank you for the 5-Star rating of our restaurant! We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your experience with us!We hope to see you again very soon.Sincerely,Cooper Restaurants

Gulf South / New Orleans themed restaurant offering a wide variety of seafood, steaks, chicken and pastas. With a full lunch and dinner menu, fantastic wine list and specialty drinks.
We travel to Mobile weekly and stay in the area of Half Shell, so, we eat there once per week. We obviously love it. Being creatures of habit, we eat the same thing every week - I mean, once you find something you really like, why vary! We sit at a high top in the bar area - the one at the far end. We always start with sauteed crab claws - perfect. Mar has a half ceasar salad and an order of comeback shrimp. I get the Half Shell salad, entree portion, with a salmon topper. Service is always cordial and efficient.Oh, did I mention they have a cocktail called a Pink Pearl - think Cosmo with Pomegranate instead of Cranberry - excellent. And a short drive to the hotel!Greatest endorsement? We keep going back.

We will be the first to admit that oysters are not our thing. But when in Rome do as the Roman's do or when in Mobile go to Wintzell's Oyster House. This place had us at hello. It is well preserved with the long past owners words of wisdom or barstool poetry hanging and written on the walls. Great atmosphere and vibe to this Dauphin Street location. Our server was Rich who offered advice and name dropped all the famous people who have eaten there under his watch. Our service was friendly, full of information and fun. Nice combination and job well done Rich! For our food we ordered the Alabama's Award Winning Gumbo, Fried J.O. Platter (catfish, oysters, scallops and shrimp) and topped it off with their award winning bread pudding. The fried oysters were great by the way. The Gumbo and Bread Pudding best we have ever had. We shared and enjoyed a lot of great food. This would be a must stop if you are in Mobile. It is the place to go based off our limited study of the area. We are glad we experienced it and would highly recommend a visit.

Dauphin's is an upscale restaurant that resides atop the historic, newly remodeled Trustmark Bank building on the 34th floor in Mobile, AL. Enjoy a stylish cocktail and beautiful sounds from the Bar424 while waiting to indulge in fresh, local cuisine all
I visited here for lunch with two friends. The decor is lovely. There is an ocean sea theme. They do not have real aquariums but they have tv screens plai4ng film of fish swimming that looks like a real aquarium. The views of the city are wonderful - from any side you choose.I ordered the fried green tomatoes topped with shrimp in a remoulade sauce. This is normally an appetizer from their dinner menu, but I asked if I could have it for lunch and my request was granted. My main meal was not as good as the fried green tomatos. The portions were very small. I barely tasted any coconut in the cocont rice and when I ordrered the broilled shrimp I was expecting something similar to shrimp cocktail. But it wasn't. The shrimp were served hot and very spicy. The staff were very professional and cordial.I gave it a higher rating mainly because of the overall ambiance.

Marina and Grill with a view of Chickasabogue Creek. Dine inside or outside in our dog friendly patio. Launch your boat or ride up to the dock and have a cocktail, cold beer, wine or listen to the live music in our family friendly restaurant. Never a cove
We have been here many times. I went today and they obviously have a new chef. In the past the gumbo was the best I had ever had. Today it was so spicy I couldnât eat it. Ribeye sandwich was still good, but didnât like the new potato wedges. Please bring back the old way of cooking things! Hi R. This is Kate the owner/Executive Chef. I hate that you were disappointed. I am training the crew on the gumbo but didn't have a chance to check this batch with the Mutts and Mimosas function going down. I will double check the batch today. Sorry you didn't like the wedges but we still have all the original sides on the menu so rest assured, you can still find an old favorite. I promise, the menu hasn't changed (besides adding a few things for folks that didn't care for the spicy side). It's just always a challenge training people to cook the way its intended. Hope to see you again soon and thank you for the input.

We stopped for the night in Saraland, AL and found Catfish Junction on TA. The place is very casual, the service pleasant, and the food very good. I am not a huge fish fan but I really liked the grilled catfish here. Even I could tell the fish was fresh! The hush puppies that everyone mentions were really good, too. My only complaint was the cost... two of us ate for $38 plus tip and in my opinion, it was not a $40 meal. It was close to our hotel, easy to find, and really did taste good. So I would still give this a good thumbs up.

We went to the Wintzell's in downtown Mobile. The whole restaurant was dirty. It looked like no one cared. We left and went to Saraland. This Wintzell's was fantastic. It was clean, we were seated immediately, and the service was great. I wanted the tacos and asked the waitress which ones are the best. She brought me fish tacos and sweet potato fries. She said she ate that dish all the time. It was perfect. It tasted fresh and delicious. This is the place to eat in South Alabama. We will return.*Please let me know if you have questions and/or found this review helpful. Thanks.
