Taco Casa serves the best Mexican fast food around. Having grown up in Tuscaloosa, Taco Casa was a regular part of my diet. You cannot beat the Tacos, Enchiladas, and Sanchos. Every time I visit Tuscaloosa these days Taco Casa is one of the first places I go. I wish they would build one in Huntsville. Order your meal Extra Hot.
We never seem to be seated in a timely manner and the waiter seems to take their time to come as well. The food is average and the drinks are okay. The location is great, but would not recommend other than convenience.
We have eaten here for years and always enjoyed it but what happened? Did the restaurant change owners? They still have the best salsa in town but all the waiters have changed and have a lack of knowledge about the menu. The bathrooms are a key to restaurant management and here I found the men's room dirty and unfit for sanitary use. I'm disappointed and hope the owner will take action to correct. Our next Mexican restaurant will be somewhere else.
First the salsa was great things went down hill from there. No toilet paper in women's bathroom. No paper towels in men's bathrooms were not clean. It was lunch time and the place was empty and it took a long time to get food and it was lukewarm. Taking that warm it should have been hot. Beans were to runny. Sorry but we won't be back

One thing I miss when I'm away from Tuscaloosa is Taco Casa! Taco Casa originated from Tuscaloosa and is a local favorite. They have great extra hot sauce. I get chimalupas (extra beans, no meat), tacos, and burritos. Get a large sweet tea too!Thank you!

This Taco Casa was very good. The sevrice was quick and efficient and the food was good; prices were good; eating area was clean and well kept up by restaurant staff.Thank you!
Went on a very busy Saturday night. Completely packed with customers. Wait time was very short for seating. Was served chips and salsa immediately upon being seated. Waiter came shortly for drink orders and queso appetizer order. Food took quite a bit of time but was expected with level of busyness. My husband ordered chicken fajita nachos which were excellent. I ordered fried chicken enchilada and fried chicken burrito and it came with rice and beans also. My enchilada and burrito were a little dry even with cheese sauce but still good. The other couple really enjoyed their food and said it was also very good. Price is definitely comparable with other nice Mexican restaurants. We would recommend eating here when in Northport.

The one on hwy 43 is our new go-to location for Mexican food. The service is friendly and consistent, the food is great and the menu is extensive. I strongly suggest that you venture from the normal Taco/burrito/quesadilla ( not that they arenât good - they are) because the other non-traditional dishes are fantastic. I really like trying new things there when Iâm usually a person that sticks to one thing. I have never been disappointed.

I thought the atmosphere at Central Mesa was nice & conducive to having a visit with an old friend. We were there for her birthday.Music was playing at an appropriate level;you could hear it but it didn't drown out your conversation. The food & drinks were average, although we had an awesome waitress.I was a little disappointed in the menu & food as I was hoping for more of a variety, especially some items that didn't contain all meat & drinks made with fresh juices. Salsa was served cold right out of refrigerator . I like mine room temp. or warm. I thought the entrees were a little over-priced,but you did get a generous portion. My friend said the sangria was very good.I would be willing to give it another go just because I liked the atmosphere.this was during the week so don't know what it's like on the weekends!

Pastorâs Kitchen is not like the other Mexican food restaurants in town. Their food has a more authentic taste. The street tacos are my favorite. If itâs your first visit, ask for the bean dip as an appetizer. Itâs incredible. The chicken spinach burrito is great, too. Also, the staff is top notch.
