We absolutely love this restaurant. Our first visit was because it was in walking distance of the hotel we were staying in, but now we eat here every visit. The food is absolutely EXCELLENT and so is the service. If you love Mexican food - eat here. It's the best.
You won't do better than Tia's Cantina for good, well seasoned, low priced Mexican food, and a very nice selection as well. It's in a little strip center, so it will be easy to miss...but you won't want to miss it. Give it a try, as we did, and I assure you we will visit Tia's each time we are in the area. I got two Chile Relleno's, each over-stuffed with beef. It came with rice and beans, and a guacamole salad -- all for $8.50 (at dinner time -- not even a lunch special!). Definitely recommended!
This Mexican restaurant is within walking distance of the motel we were staying in tonight, so we went there. We were very disappointed with the salsa which tasted like tomato sauce. We ordered one order of their combo fajitas which was enough for two. The server brought out a plate with beans and rice which sat on our table for about 5 minutes before the fajitas were brought out. The fajita pan was hot but the food was not. We had to ask for a second plate for my husband. The food had no spice or flavor. Everything tasted bland. Order came with 3 tortillas. The server charged us $1.25 for 3 more tortillas. TV had on a Spanish doctor series in which people were being operated on while I was eating my dinner...Not going back!

I have been going to this restaurant since it opened 24 years ago. It has reasonably priced Mexican cuisine and the portions are generous.

Very reasonable prices and a good assortment of southwest style foods. Take your pick of tacos, burritos, quesadillas, nachos, stacks, bowls, salads, chips and salsa, etc. A quick meal. Nothing fancy just enter, order, pick up your tray, seat yourself, pig-out, clean up after yourself, then be on your merry and satisfied way!

Habanero's food is good we eat there almost every Sunday after Church. My husband usually has the chimichanga meal and I usually have a guacamole taco and refried beans.

I ordered a Mexican Bowl (fresh corn, rice, black beans & grilled chicken). The dish looked amazing but the chicken was so charred, that everything tasted burned. My husband ordered street tacos (steak) and the meat tasted like it had been sat in salt until they needed it. It was pretty bad. The worst part about his meal though was the grease. It just poured out of the tacos. Yeah, no thanks! We won't be back

I waited until the second visit to do a review of this one. It has been several months since we were last here and had forgotten what it was like. The decor is typical of Mexican restaurants and had music playing in the background. We were seated immediately for lunch around 1:00. Our waiter was very pleasant and joked around a bit but not overly done.Chips and salsa along with our drinks were on the table very quickly. The food came quickly and was piping hot. I had the steak fajita salad & he had a chili relleno. Both meals came with refried beans. My hubby happens to like the taste of the pepper in this dish & was disappointed when he couldnât even taste it! He said the cheese was overpowering. My salad was ok but the seasoning on the steak was a little odd and did not taste like the normal fajita taste. The restroom need attention.Needless to say, we will keep looking for a good Mexican restaurant in this area.

I had the #10 Pork meal with marinated chunks of pork, tender and very tasty. You must squeeze the lime on them. The lime really makes them better. The beans and rice is ok nothing special. This is becoming my favorite restaurant in Prattville. Give them a try you will mot be disappointed.

This restaurant is directly across from the Sleep Inn, well within walking distance. Mixed reviews on Trip Advisor, but we were tired and hungry. The outside of the restaurant could use some sprucing up. The inside, however, is clean, with Mexican decor and music. The waitress and owner were very gracious. We arrived very early for dinner but there were tables filled with Spanish-speaking diners having a good time. The food was reasonably priced and we enjoyed the salsa and chips, tacos, rice and beans. We will return when we pass through this area again!
