Another Broken Egg is a restaurant chain. One of the newer restayrants has just opened im Mountan Brook, Alabama
Having had a wonderful experience last month on my first visit here, I couldn't wait to take my visiting grandchildren-to what was supposed to be my new favorite breakfast place.I could not have been more disappointed. First I had to send the coffee back three times before it was hot, next I ordered soft scrambled eggs with cheese had to send them back and they still came back hard plus they were WAY more cheese than eggs. Next I ordered a bowl of City Grits and was told I must have meant the Country grits because that was the Only grits bowl they had. When it was brought to the table I told the waiter that was the wrong thing to which I was once again told that I must have been mistaken. I even explained to him what it was, again I mentioned "City Grits". As bad as this was nothing tops the I'm lit that I ordered for my grandson that I specified NO mushrooms! he tasted it and said "grandma, maybe we can take it home and add some taste to it". When the waiter brought the check and to go containers he said maybe it'll taste better later. I informed him that it was going home to my dog. Now I must say the manager tried to make it better by taking some off the bill, however I am just thankful that my grandson could not eat that overcooked tasteless omelette because when I was giving it to my dog... image my surprise at discovering MUSHROOMS which he is allergic to. I would have just not written a review at all had it not been for the mushrooms. BTW they do have City Grits which is what I went there for! I am attaching a copy of my review from last month...Thank you for your feedback. Another Broken Egg Cafe takes great pride and care in serving high-quality and flavorful offerings. Yes, it is original no doubt with some very original pancakes like the Swedish pancake which resembles rawa dosa, light and lacy and meant to be eaten with your hands. Service is humdrum.

We were heading into Birmingham to attend a Birmingham Legion FC Soccer game, and wanted a place to grab a quick, but good, lunch, before checking into our hotel. Our son, who lives in town, had heard of this place, and suggested we all meet there to try it out - so glad he did! The pizza was OUTSTANDING! At $17.00 for a Large, 3 adults ate and were comfortable. The crust was cooked to perfection, the toppings tasted very fresh, and the service was outstanding. We will be back!

Rojo is a great place to bring a group of friends. They have plenty of seating and a great menu. They have a mexican food menu and an american food menu, which is great for big groups. They also have great local beers and great drinks. Thanks so much for the review! We love big groups. We also have a side room that you can reserve for parties :)

Located in Birmingham's Lakeview District, we serve authentic, gourmet tacos and Spanish style tapas with a Southern twist.
If you like just a taste of this and that - and who doesn't? This is the place for you. Tapas are perfect for a little taste. The regular menu here is also very good and plenty to order if you plan on sharing with others at the table. I ordered three pork tacos and they were delicious! I can imagine how busy this great restaurant is during the summer. Don;t let that dissuade you. It is worth a wait.Service is good and friendly.

Some of the food was delicious: the corn soup, snapper and vegetable platter. The Hickory Grilled Wagyu Sirloin on Summer Salad was disappointing. While it was cooked a perfect medium rare, it lacked sufficient seasoning, was not juicy and parts were tough. Not what a wagyu steak should be. The steak was served atop mixed greens which became wilted. The accompanying crispy potato sticks were mixed into the salan and as a result became soggy. It would have been much better if the items in the dish were served side by side rather than on top of each other. The desserts were good but a bit small. The biggest issue we had was the size of the table and the noise level. We were 6 people seated at a table that could only comfortably accommodate 4 people. My chair protruded into an aisle and as a result people were constantly bumping into me. The room was noisy because they crammed too many tables into a small space and the open kitchen added to the clamor.

SAW's was recommended to us by hotel staff. Our server was excellent. We started with fried green tomatoes which were delicious. Our servicer made a recommendation which we ordered. We had the pork and greens and grilled catfish and greens. Both were excellent and packed with flavor. This place has a casual atmosphere and great food. You won't be disappointed.

Visited here after hot day at the Zoo when daughter picked it- The server Michelle was great! The chicken salad and pimento with crackers was wonderful. Loved the home made âcrackersâ. The patty melt was a bit on the dry side and needed something as far as seasoning. The kids grilled cheese was very good and had plenty of cheese. Would definitely go again if in area - just know there are only a very few Parking spots but parking on street.

We sat at the bar because this restaurant was booked for weeks. We got Great service! Fast, efficient service, and the food was fantastic! Shrimp cocktail appetizer, Triple tail with ratatouille, Red Snapper with Zucchini pancake. It was awesome and the guy even offered to take a picture of us, he didn't have to do that, but it showed real hospitality, we were very impressed!

Anniversary celebration...made reservation a month prior. Everything we had hoped for! Based on reviews that we read, the Parmesan souffle was amazing!!! Cocktails were nothing special...actually just okay, but wine selection was exceptional. Scallopine was amazing and pasta celections were great. No room for dessert...portion sizes were more than adequate. Service, as most reviews state, was exceptional. Would also reccomend valet service as parking can be difficult for the area.
