Good food, large portions, very friendly servers. Located in a shopping center, it may not have the ambiance you're looking for, but it does have the food and service. We went for breakfast and weren't disappointed. I believe breakfast is served all day. Had the Greek Omelet and it was overstuffed with sautéed onions, peppers, etc; and an ample amount of feta. I'd go back....

We are the ugly diner near Canal Rd and Tacky Jacks. We are NOT the shiny silver diner near the beach. The only thing promised here is a great meal and adequate service.
This location has been plagued with one failed restaurant after another...until The Diner. Good selection of food at a reasonable price. Breakfasts are very nice with a good atmosphere. The negative aspect of this restaurant is that the word is out. Snow birds love it in the winter and in the summer, the rest of the year, locals. Good reference!

Visited the Sassy Bass Island Grill yesterday. We are staying in Gulf Shores and itâs located in Kiva Dunes off Ft Morgan Road. Slightly out of the way for us but wow was it worth the drive! I had the pecan crusted grouper and husband had grilled. Absolutely delicious. Alicia was our waitress and she was friendly, attentive and made great suggestions about the menu. Everything we had was wonderful and prices reasonable. We have a few more days here and will definitely be going back!

we live nearby to this restaurant but never attempted to go there since itâs wedged between two tall buildings and there is no view of the beach, however, we decided to try it because we did not want to go to far from our condominium. It was a pleasant surprise. I had their flounder Poor boy with a side of coleslaw, $11, and my companion had the shrimp dish with french fries which were remarkably crispy for $16. The place is attended by locals, No ambience,it is noisy, I would not recommend it for children. The wait staff was OK. The food was fresh and tasty. If you are looking for a place to eat in gulf shores by the beach, It is a little pricey, but it is a tourist area. They do not have a happy hour.

Small busy place with great service. We had different versions of shrimp dinners with their included sides, swamp soup (beans, collards, carrots and broth) excellent hush puppies, fresh caught shrimp & fries. I ordered a frozen lime margarita and the bartender personally came out and told me he was having trouble getting the frozen lime to come out properly but he could do strawberry which I took and was excellent. Great friendly service from all employees, will definitely return.

Came here for dinner with my wife and daughter and we absolutely loved it! We had the tuna sashimi for an appetizer and it was phenomenal. My wife had a filet and shrimp and they were cooked perfectly, my daughter's burger was the best she's ever had, and my short ribs were excellent. We had great service from our waiter, Rusty, who was very friendly and attentive. We highly recommend coming here!

Come see us for delicious fresh sliced meat sandwiches, pizzas, hot dogs, nachos, walking tacos, Blue Bell ice cream (including old fashion homemade milk shakes), and shaved ice. We are not a swanky restaurant or a 5 star place where you have to dress up,
This is a little shack on the beach road that serves up some very good sandwiches. Great for getting a quick snack or light lunch.

Very happy and helpful staff. Got 2 lbs of royal reds steamed cajun style and some smoked salmon and tuna dip. Took just minutes to have our order and still plenty hot by the time we returned to condo. The dips was very good and loved the royal reds. An excellent way to take a break from going out to a restaurant and will do it again our next trip
Located on the Fort Morgan peninsula of Gulf Shores, Alabama, Kiva Grill has a comprehensive breakfast and lunch menu that will satisfy anyone. Open to the public seven days, the grill has a warm atmosphere with a full coffee and drink bar. Beat the beach
The grille at the golf course. We visited during the off season but pleasantly surprised at the breakfast. Only one wait person was there at first so it was a bit slow, but she was pleasant and our order was accurate. Bacon was excellently prepared, crispy but not hard! The biscuit was a bit crusty on the outside, but still ok with sausage gravy. Eggs were prepared just as ordered.
