After traveling a long way we decided to give this place a try. We were seated in a booth but the benches were uncomfortable and asked to move to another table. It caused a little confusion with the wait staff. I tried to order wings but was told they were out of the flats. Ok. I ordered a small pepperoni pizza that was worse than one in a gas station. My wife ordered a side salad and some kind of a sandwich. Not extremely happy with our night in Dothan.

Full Moon has a long, delicious history of great Southern-style 'que made in the time-honored, traditional way â with quality meats cooked low and slow over a hickory wood-fired pit and spiced with a mouthwatering, award-winning bar-b-que sauce. We are fa
With all the competition in Dothan, we were pleasantly surprised with just how good the food was. Generous portions at reasonable prices, Tried the fried green tomatoes, tasty but cut a bit too thick IMHO.BBQ was very good.Food was served quickly and accurately, something that some area restaurants seem to have issue with.

Half Restaurant. Half Store. All Country
1st time went in to check out the place. The entrance is through boutique store with all the âsouthern goodiesâ. Loved checking them out. Then we were seated in the restaurant by a nice server. We ordered the Steak and a classic burger. Food was ok,the steak was cooked well, burger was decent. The mashed/baked potatoes just too bland for me , i had to put salt in everything. The mac and cheese they served had a âburnt brownish black cheese portion â which comes when the cheese burns if the pot is too hot in which you are heating it. I just picked it out but still was kind of unappetizing for me. I dont think i will go back again for a while.

We have eaten here several times and always happy. Freshly prepared country-cooking with lots of vegetable options everyday, and a fresh-shucked pea option daily. Love the fried okra, the greens, the lima beans and the purple hull peas. Country fried steak is great as well as the smoked chicken breast, and the chicken-n-dumplings. Good portions. Pet-friendly on the porch also. Great service too!

Arrived at 1300 on a Saturday, not busy, about 5 tables with patrons. Sat quick and got drinks and an appetizer fast. Pizza took forever though and was average. Our 2nd visit and will go back, but only if we have time to spare! Gave them an average vs poor since the server and food was ok. Thanks for your feedback - we apologize about the wait. Next time you're in, let us know about your previous experience and we will make sure to make it right. Thanks for your business, and we do hope to see you again soon.

Just one minute after arrival, our party of three was seated at exactly 4:40. The hostess was all business. The interior decor is early 1957... neat but very drab. Almost depressing. And, everyone thinks itâs just fine!...The dining room has laminate table tops and hard benches... the tables had salt, pepper shaker s ketchup in the bottle steak sauce in the bottle Our server greeted us with her â cardâ... the servers name is on the laminated card. Our server was very sweet.Drink orders were taken and specials were offered. We all ordered steaks. The food came out hot and perfectly cooked. But, the steaks were swimming in a vinegar based â sauceâ... no one knew that the presentation would include the â specialâ sauce...Two sides come with each main course. We had the sweet potato, a baked potato, French fries and broccoli . Dessert was offered as the â famous cheesecakeâ... visions of Junior s New YorkCheesecake filled our minds. Alas, thatâs not what came out! A graham cracker crust filled with whipped cream cheese ,sour cream ,vanilla... more of a mousse texture Comstock canned cherry, and blueberry Pie filling topped the dessert. We were out the door at 5:15!

Zach's has great homestyle food! It will remind you of the great meals that you had at your Grandmother's house. They have great fried chicken, baked chicken, dumplings, vegetables and biscuits or cornbread. Have yourself a glass of sweet tea and enjoy the homemade delights. Be sure and finish off your meal with one of the many dessert specials they have each day. They are only open for lunch, and they are always busy! Don't miss this local gem! You won't be sorry!

Large portions with reasonable prices and friendly service. We had onion petals and fried mushrooms as an appetizer that were crispy and not greasy. Salad bar was ok. Blackened shrimp and scallops were great. Fried shrimp special of the day had 14 large shrimp that were perfect. Cheese rolls were sinfully good.
