We stopped by Manciâs for Bloody Maryâs at the suggestion of a travel app while on our way to Perdido Bay. It is a charming, eclectic mix of funky decor that challenges your eyes to check out their walls, ceilings, cases, bar, etc. which I suppose are the âantiquesâ. It was late afternoon so not crowded at all and the bartender was a very nice young man who grew up locally and gave us an historical overview of Manciâs. We decided to split a shrimp poâ boy basket and in retrospect, wish we had each gotten our own as the poâ boy was very good but the French fries were absolutely, without a doubt, the most delicious fries I have ever eaten and my wife agrees. The fries were cut in a âswirlyâ shape that was not only unique but made the pieces much larger and flavorful; actually tasted like potatoes and not oil! The Bloody Maryâs might have the reputation but it was the fries that was the most memorable!

We had a really great lunch here recently. The steaks were outstanding (as were the salads and sides) but more expensive than I expected for a "chain" restaurant. Our server was outstanding as well. If you come here for steak, be prepared for some high prices, but with excellent customer service!

This was my first time to visit Sugar Kettle. The experience was very positive. Decor was very nice. Food and service were both outstanding. I should mention that the oversized coffee mugs are perfect for early morning coffee hounds. Although a little dry and overcooked, the sausage breakfast casserole was great. Cheese grits and biscuits were great as well, being two of the items that separate mediocre from superior breakfast places. While it's hard to mess up eggs and bacon, I still give this place credit for serving it so well. For friendly service and great breakfast in a nice clean setting, this is a must visit in Daphne for me.

A beautiful waterfront restaurant! Full service, full bar, great seafood & a great view! Best sunsets ever! Brought to you by Chef Pete Blohme of Panini Pete's!
The setting is lovely, but after reading so many lovely reviews, our expectations were high - and, as a result, we were disappointed. The service was average - and the food, though acceptable, was overpriced.

While staying with friends we went to the Southwood Kitchen for dinner. The staff was very friendly and we were immediately seated in an alcove which was a very relaxed environment. My husband and I love oysters so we ordered a dozen and were not disappointed. They were fresh and delicious! Our entreeâs consisted of roasted rabbit which my husband absolutely loved and diver scallops which were prefect.y prepared and succulent. The two other entrees were shrimp and grits and scamp which our friends thoroughly enjoyed. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful with ordering. It was a wonderful evening and we look forward to returning whenever we are in the area.

We have been in business for 18 years. We pride ourselves on fresh ingredients served daily. Dinner is also available on Friday and Saturday nights from 5pm - 9pm. As always, East Shore Cafe is a BYOB establishment. You bring your favorite libation and we
East Shore Cafe is our go to breakfast place. We eat here twice a month with my family. Sunday after church is really busy. We usually get there about 9:15 to beat the rush. This is a small older house that has been converted to a restaurant. They have seating inside and outside. It is a little tight with the seating, and can get a little loud when they are busy. But the food is worth it!!! The owners and staff are amazing! I get the same thing every time (Cottage sandwich with bacon and 1/2 cup of coffee), and the staff remembers. Their Cottage Sandwich is the BEST breakfast sandwich around! My husband gets an omelet every time. Our children love the Stuffed French Toast. The flavor changes. They have a wonderful lunch also. I LOVE the Honey Chicken Salad on a croissant. Give their homemade cookies a chance. They have chocolate chips, coconut, and macadamia nuts in them. So yummy!!! They also have the BEST flavor of tea.

I've gotten to go food here several times. I always get the shrimp and grits. It's good but I wouldn't call it excellent.

This is a great restaurant. Wide menu selection. Gumbo is house specialty. Served in a form bowl. Side Bread was really good. You have to order it. Seafood Trio is 19$ and worth it. Plenty to eat. Did not eat dessert. We read about this location on Trip Advisor. It is a family restaurant and it was packed Friday night 6-9. Mostly locals. 5-6 miles off I-10. The food is superior and service is really good. It is worth the time. We will return. Building Is plain. No flashing lights. Second location in Mobile.Wow thank you for the high praise. We love seeing when someone has a wonderful experience . thank you again and look forward to seeing you. Happy Eating Zack

Enjoy mouth-watering local fare with ingredients sourced from local farms and our Estate Garden. Including everything from shareable appetizers, burgers & sandwiches, salads, woodstone pizzas, pasta, fresh local seafood or a steak cooked to perfection. Di
We are locals and have dined here a couple of times. The setting is simply gorgeous, with great views of the bay from virtually every inside table. They also offer outdoor seating with even better views. The menu is quite good and diverse. They are a bit pricey, but not too bad considering their high-end resort location. The service is generally pretty good and they have a full bar and a decent wine list, as well as several interesting draft and craft beers. My favorite is the shrimp Cobb salad. It is simply amazing and HUGE! Be sure and ask for both dressings (a thick red wine vinaigrette and green goddess) on the side you can experiment with both.
