A family owned local standard, Betty's customers enjoy the best barbecue, or a plate of beans and greens with cornbread. There are daily specials including Chicken and Dressing which draws a full crowd on Thursdays. The ribs are a favorite. For those with a lighter appetite they also have an assortment of salads. They have drive through and have full catering. Around the holidays you can preorder fully cooked turkey to pick up.The staff is friendly and efficient and the prices are reasonable.

Hubbard's Off Main Offers Lunch: Wednesday-Sunday from 11-2. Dinner: Wednesday Saturday 5-10:00. Live Music on the Weekends. Meals are prepared by Jeremy Minton and his staff and served by skilled professionals. We offer Rush Wines and Craft and Domestic
The menu is mostly southern food, which is not my favorite type of cuisine. However, I go there for the atmosphere and live music. I will say the southern food is good, if that is your bag. The cocktails are nice too.

Fresh new building, great service, but... the only thing really outstanding was the smoked chicken. There were three in my party, and each of us had something different and shared. I chose the smoked chicken, fried green tomatoes, and onion rings. The chicken had a very good flavor, the onion rings were not greasy, but the fried green tomatoes were blah! Not fresh, I think they were frozen ones, looked like poker chips that had been battered then fried and again blah. If not for the dipping sauce there would not have been any thing to them. If one goes here also HINT if you do not like spicy sauce tell the server you want mild sauce. I made the mistake of dipping my bite of chicken covering it completely and then eating it. It took half the glass of tea to calm the burn down. My friends ordered the potato salad, yuck. We each had the banana pudding, it lack a lot. I dug out the bananas that were black. Another friend had the ribs, he enjoyed them, but noticed he pushed the potato salad to the side.

This is a great BBQ place in Anniston which has surprisingly few good BBQ joints for a city in Alabama. They do excellent meat which is the standard for any BBQ restaurant. I like the pork sliders for lunch. They have a delicious Irish potato salad. I didn't know this version of Psal existed but it is good. If you're a fry person they have really good super thin shoestring fries. Enjoy a sweet tea with it and you'll be stuffed for lunch.

We were just visiting Anniston and needed a quick lunch. Dad's was recommended and nearby so we took a chance. Both of us had a regular size Barbecue Sandwich, to which we added slow. The waitress brought extra sauce which was quite good. Hubby got the baked beans, which were good. I got the fried green tomatoes...a first for me; they came with ranch dressing. They were good, but just don't think it is my thing. The banana pudding was also homemade and very good! Service was great -- attentive, accurate and friendly. The premises were clean and booths were comfortable. Definitely would return if I am in Anniston again.

Two bars downstairs, one in Saloon and one in Grill plus bar upstairs in special events room that was originally a brothel. Open on Mondays when many other bars and restaurants closed in Anniston. Great regular and special daily menu choices. Oldest operating bar in Alabama; brothel closed during 1920s. Bar back and ceiling upstairs is beautiful. Great service from a Megan. See photos once posted.

I have had better steaks at, Longhorn,O'Charleys,Logan's and Applebees all in Oxford. Not only was their steaks better but at a MUCH LOWER price. The waitress was good. She kept my tea glass full. I went on someone's recommendation. I don't plan on going back.

The business is a great ambiance and makes you feel welcome. The service is great, the food was spectacular and I will continue patronizing them. Their lunch meals are the same in portion as the dinner to me. You will be full and won't regret eating here.

Although it's a seafood restaurant, I always order mustard green as an appetizer to go with the complimentary slaw and cornbread. After finishing that, I'm usually full. But I always find a place for some catfish fillets which are the best ever.

There was also a special table for children! The preparation and quality of each item was exquisite... beautifully presented...wonderful flavors. The price of the brunch was $32 (plus tax) per person, including tea and coffee. We look forward to returning.
