Great place to eat on a Saturday night. I got the 13 ounce ribeye and my wife got the shrimp basket. My brother in law got the ribeye and my sister the chicken salad. While waiting the folks brought out some pulled pork, sausage and biscuits. Great food and folks.

There are very few good restaurants in Andalusia, AL. This is one of them and I have a review ready to go! Thanks.
Really good place to eat with the best wings in town. Mike is the best server I always sit in his section, never lets my drink empty and is helpful and knowledgeable about the menu as well as the town.Thank you for the review, come back soon!
We're Always Cookin' There's something about a freshly made meal, prepared just for you. Maybe it's a waffle sundae to celebrate the day you get your braces off, or a plate full of loaded hash browns after a Saturday morning soccer game. Whatever the occa
Good food for breakfast. The wait for food is forever, it doesn't matter what time of the day that you go. Don't good if you are on a time frame. They just expanded the inside for more seating (so it made the wait even worse).

We had bar b q sandwich with two sides. The bbq was ok--average. Cole slaw was a bit too sweet and watery. baked potato was fine. service good. What ruined me was the fact that a few days earlier I had bbq at Dreamland in Montgomery. I rate their BBQ a 10 and rate Larry's about 4

We were very happy with this Zaxby's. The food is typical Zaxby's. The restaurant is also very clean. What separates this one apart from the others is the service. When we grabbed our plates, a price of chicken fell off and they grabbed us another piece of chicken. We also asked to switch out cole slaw for fries and they were happy to do it. Very pleased with the service.

I normally eat here 3 or 4 times a month. Its only open for lunch and you will find many of the locals here as it is a city favorite. Thursday's are chicken fingers and they are the best. Everything is fresh made from the veggies to the deserts and though there isn't the variety you find at a big chain this is home made southern food and you'll find something that you love. They have a huge salad bar with lots to choose from and normally at least 3 different deserts in addition to soft serve ice cream. Of your worried about your picky eater.....don't be.

I may not be an expert on "southern bbq" but I know what tastes good. I base this on my favorite bbq place: Dreamland. I have enjoyed both the Montgomery and Mobile locations. The bbq plate I had at The Crow's Nest was great. Wonderful flavor. You could smell the meat cooking from out back. I had the bbq pork plate with baked beans and cole slaw and it came with hush puppies. Their sauce is a bit sweet, so go light on that (not as good as the Dreamland sauce) but the meat was superb and had a great taste. Heck you don't need any sauce. Slaw and hush puppies were also great. Beans were good not great. Really enjoyed the meal.

On Friday evening our group of 4 couples traveled from Greenville, AL to Big Mikeâs in Andalusia. As expected, there was a wait. We were initially told it would be an hour before we were seated. However, it was not nearly that long. The restaurant accommodated our large group easily at one large round table. Very quickly our waitress provided our drinks and delicious appetizers of fried mushrooms and crab claws. Our party ordered a variety of entrees including Ribeye, New York Strip, Filet Mignon and Oysters Bienville. Sides included huge, fluffy baked potatoes, sweet potatoes and steamed broccoli. Everyone loved the food. All steaks were prepared as ordered. My filet mignon, medium rare, was so tender it could be cut with a butter knife. It was such a fun evening! Our waitress was so accommodating that she even took our group picture.

My husband and I ate here while visiting Andalusia. We had eaten at Davidâs Catfish in Milton, FL, and loved it, so we hoped this would be the same. We were not disappointed! In spite of the lunch crowd, we were seated immediately. We ordered and the food was served promptly. My husband ordered shrimp & grits. I ordered the catfish filets. The food was delicious! I loved the grilled green beans and the hush puppies are exceptional. I really like the fact that we get our own pitchers of iced tea. I donât have to wait for a server to refill my drink.I visited the ladies room and it was very clean, as was the whole restaurant. The decor was shabby chic with interesting stuff, plaques and fishing gear, on every wall. If we are ever visiting Andalusia again, this will be our go-to lunch or dinner spot.
