We stayed here for 4 nights while visiting Madinah. The room was shared with a family of three and was adequate. We had to ask for room service and loo rolls. They didn’t know what toilet roll was and had to say toilet paper or toilet tissue or even bog roll. Any way we ended up showing them what it was! Apart from that drama we were out all the time.

Excellent location close to Haram Poor selection at breakfast. Toaster was faulty. Had to put my toast in 7 times before it was ready. Yogurts were finished halfway through breakfast and not refilled. Have to wait a long time for lifts before and after prayers. Bathrooms need to be renovated. Very good cleaning services. Might recommend to friends.

Thahmad Hotel is the best in the area. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Towels, toilet papers, soup, shampoo are provided. Free black coffee available every morning. Free WiFi. Free private parking with security cameras. Great location. Right next door is a super market and a restaurant. Affordable prices.

After a rather large corporate spend on hotels in September my colleagues and I elected to stay here. Serviced apartment type accommodation is not usual for us and so we were all pleasantly surprised. We stayed in single rooms with a small lounge area. Rooms were clean, comfortable and furnished in a nice relaxed style. Large comfortable bed. Not much in the way of window views but as we were working dawn to dusk this was not an issue. Split a/c in lounge area and window type in bedroom. Both quiet and unobtrusive. Kitchenette was ok, microwave, twin electric hob and kettle. What was apparent was the variety of cooking items in each apartment. For a longer term stay I cannot say whether more utensils etc would be supplied in order to prepare food thus avoiding the need to rely on delivery from local restaurants. There is no food availability in the hotel and it is a drive to find a place to eat out. All in all it was ok for the money. If economy of stay is necessary and more room than a usual hotel can provide is required Taraf 2 should do the trick.
