We stayed here twice on our trip around the Carrera austral. We loved this small hotel. It has a contemporary feel and us very stylish and comfortable. Great breakfast served until 10.30 am. Very friendly staff and one of our favourite places of our trip.

Small hotel, very centrally located, but in a very quiet place. It has 7 rooms with private bath, including breakfast, wi-fi, parking
The hotel is well located, directly across from the casino and within 5 minutes walking distance of the main town centre. Room and bathroom were very small and there were many rules written mostly in Spanish about conserving water etc. Two nights we were there we had cold showers, and Coyhaique is very cold as it is! Minimal soundproofing between rooms so you can hear people coming and going constantly and using the bathroom. Staff were friendly enough but didn't speak any English. Breakfast was average, you need to pay extra if you want non-instant coffee, no fruit, no milk.

Charming boutique hotel. The hotel is made of native lumber. Nice and confortable rooms with their own fire places, Phone, DirecTV, Wi-Fi, full bathroom with hair dryer. Hotel is located in the town center, two blocks from the main square and one block from Cochrane river.
We spent four nights at the Ultimo Paraiso exploring Patagonia National Park, and doing some fishing. It was a great choice. The owners, Carlos and Nella, are wonderful hosts. We very much appreciated their advice on fishing, hiking, and dinners. They set up a boat to a nice hike for us one day. And we hired Carlos as a guide (and fly fishing teacher) for the Cochrane river one day which was a real highlight. Carlos will also provide you detailed advice if you just want to fish on your own. The rooms are very nice and each has its own wood stove for heat, if needed. Breakfasts were great and the common area is very nice also. Cochrane is about an hour from Patagonia National Park's headquarters. The Ultimo Paraiso, and Cochrane, make a great base for exploring this beautiful park. We enjoyed several days in the park, which, unlike most Chilean national parks, has good gravel road access to several hiking trails. We never found any part of the park at all crowded--we definitely enjoyed its feeling of remoteness.

Everthibg You Need For You Trip, You Found In Hostel Profe Nelson
I arrived in Puerto Cisnes at 5:30am after a 20 hour ferry ride. Another passenger was staying at the Profe Nelson and I followed her there, hoping I could hang out in the common room until I could move to my Airbnb. Fernanda welcomed me into her home, offered me breakfast, gave me the wifi code, showed me how to use netflicks and gave me excellent tourist advice, astounding, remembering I was not even going to be a guest there. So much gratitude for that lady. I only wish they had room so I could stay there. The home was so clean, warm and comfortable and I really didn’t want to leave. Muchas Gracias.

This is one of the best campsites we have stayed at on our Carretera Austral roadtrip. We planned to stay for two nights, but stayed for three. After a beautiful hike in Jeinimeni to the Piedra Clavada we relaxed big time in the hot tub. With the sweet dogs, the beautiful garden and eating apples and prunes from the trees this is a little corner of paradise in Chile Chico.

Our objective of staying at Puerto Guadal was to look at the Marble Caves and walk around General Carrera lake. Getting to Puerto Guadal without a car wasn’t the easiest thing to do, but Pablo who owned the hotel was supportive from the very beginning. Communications was prompt and clear. When our plans has suddenly changed due to the issues with the public transportation, Pablo offered us a couple of options - e.g. meet us at Puerto Rio Tranquilo, transfer to the guys organizing Marble Caves visit, wait until it’s finished and drive us to El Arrayan. Everything worked out perfectly. When you book your stay at El Arrayan you are basically getting a half of the wooden house with a common space, bedroom and bathroom. Both rooms have huge windows overlooking the beautiful General Carrera lake. You can also use the wood stove to heat your house. Comfy bed, very nice and spacious house, magnificent nature. Not sure what else you may need, if you are visiting Puerto Guadal. Breakfasts and dinner are available on site. Both are delicious. If you want some solitude and feeling of freedom - this is a place to stay. We are definitely coming back

Some reviews might lead you to think that this is a much better place than we found it to be. The rooms are really small and do not have private bathrooms. In fact, there is only one shared bathroom per gender for the entire hallway (counting about 12 rooms) which I find quite limited. The walls are cardboard thin and the floors groan making you believe somebody is moving between the extremely narrow stretches between your bed and the walls although it is noises coming from next door. Price wise we were also negatively astonished as a double room costs twice the price of a single room. The only difference is that instead of a single bed you find a larger one in the same size of room (thus leaving no space at all for your belongings).
