Fantastic food and great service, sat out the back and just enjoyed a leisurely evening, all courses were excellent as was wine.

They really deserve their good ratings - great food and atmosphere, very friendly people. We had the foie gras (with some rather unusual garnishing, like parmesan and Aywar) and the beef (cooked to order, and with a great sauce), along with some local red wine, which also went well with the cheese dessert (Saint Marcellin).

Small restaurant about 2 km from the medieval city of Aigues Morte. It does look great from the outside but it is very good. Friendly service, good value for money and nice outside terrace by the canal. I definitely recommend.

We really enjoyed just sitting outside here with a drink or two in the sun surrounded by locals and with the fascinating arena opposite.

Nice atmosphere , nice host ( although doesn't speak English ) so make sure you know a bit if French. Portion sizes are bountiful.. So if ur starving come here ! The food is traditional, very very heavy. There was no menu offered to us only a set menu of 30 euro / person. That being said the set menu had a variety of meat and seafood. I had the calamari mixed with garlic mayo potatoes and as a main stuffed calamari with mince pork. Gf had the filet mignon in mushroom sauce with veggies / potatoes. Given the area if where you are, and the fact that we went on a tues night, small family business.. It's ok for what it is. I would recommend this place if ur starving and haven't eaten for a day or two.

But what's this "hostel"? Without a doubt a dream boy Many are tried to be (e) s to define, there are few who succeed and as everything constantly changes... Is it a restaurant? Not really. A bar to wine? Yes... but not that. A host table gourmet? It is s
Toujours reçu avec le sourire, la décontraction et la gentillesse. De plus, les mets sont excellents et faits maison.. avec des produits frais, ce qui est PARFAIT.Le cadre est magnifique, un endroit à découvrir impérativement.

We first ate here a couple of years ago and loved it. It was great to return and have another brilliant meal. The courtyard restaurant has been smartened up since our first visit and was really pleasant to sit in. The food is excellent - a combination of French ingredients with a Thai fusion mix. I had a wonderful salad with Thai flavours and lacquered duck which was to die for. Can't wait for our next visit.

Le Griffou was recommended by the guesthouse we were staying at. When we arrived we only the second table in. There was a very good menu which is presented on a small blackboard. There are 3 choices for each course. All the food is cooked to order and is delicious and well presented. They have a varied wine list and we chose local wine which was produced in the vineyard next to the restaurant. They were mostly locals in the restaurant which filled up quickly. The owner spoke to everyone except us maybe that's because of his English. Eventually he did come over to our table and he was charming. If you are in the area Le Griffou is well worth a visit.

We returned to this restaurant and could not be more happy .Food was amazing very tasty we went for lunch had the Salmon did not eat one that tasted as good as this one for a long time .We usually go to this place twice a year when we visit Quebec City but in 2016 we had a bad experience food was awful along with the service with a group of 20 people most of them from Quebec City and none of them returned after that day .This time around why not give it a try but we were only 3 this time and could not be more happy service was incredible food was amazing and could not ask for a better lunch like we had this time around .Service waitress was very nice which is always nice when going to a restaurant and with the hot weather we had it was even better to visit Ile D'Orléans .Thanks for a nice dinner and you can tell your Chef to continue his great work as we sure will return for sure and bring the rest of the family.
