We wanted to splurge on lunch, and going here was a bad decision. We ordered chicken soup and ribs with two soda's and the cost was $27 USD. The chicken soup was thin and the chicken was inedible (I mean really?). The ribs were better, but barely. Sorry, we had hoped for better.

The best place in "ruta de las flores" with live music every weekend and american food like burgers, salads, wings, and more!
Our tour bus stopped for lunch at Portland Bar & Grill in Santa Ana. The guide had phoned ahead with our selections, as time was limited. Tables surround a wooden dance floor, giving the impression that this is more of a nightspot than a traditional lunch venue. I had a grilled steak served with rice, vegetables and a cold beer. I can’t opine on price or comparable area restaurants as this was a tour-included lunch.

The owner Daniel gave me a private tour of his family's coffee plantation. Wow, what an experience. His passion radiates as he described his family's property and how he transformed the property. The cafe is adorable. I am not a coffee drinker despite enjoying learning about coffee. Instead, I had a horchata which was huge and so amazing that I drank the entire drink. I highly recommend stopping by for a great learning experience, food, drink, and respite. Thanks for your visit, we are glad you enjoyed. You are welcome to visit us anytime.Jorge Garza
