Noticing the locals stopping by, so did we, and we didn't regret it one bit. The dishes were nothing posh, but all was fresh and tasted very nice. In total, it went down smoothly ...

My husband is Italian and he loved the seafood fettuccine. So did I for that matter! The menu was interesting and offered many seafood options. The waiter was very attentive and recommended an exquisite white wine called Scira. Absolutely divine. We were so impressed we had 2 bottles for the four of us. We are staying nearby and have made reservations for our last night in Sicily. I would highly recommend this place that overlooks the sea.

This restaurant was suggested to us by the concierge at the Villa Athena. We were looking for a not fancy local restaurant on the coast, with excellent seafood. We were not disappointed! The food was exceptionally fresh. The spaghetti al vongole was superb, spiced to perfection and filled with the smallest and sweetest clams I've ever. My wife's spaghetti con frutti di mare was equally good. While there were other American couples at the restaurant, most of the tables were filled with Italians, who clearly were enjoying both the wonderful food and interesting ambiance. One of the dining highlights of our trip.

We didn't eat in the restaurant but the bar is excellent for sunset. Great prices on many cocktails. They have lite bites and a somewhat limited wine list. Very friendly service. Plenty of free parking around.

We had lunch in a very quiet restaurant with 3 tables occupied and the owner couple serving and maybe even cooking our meal. It was almost as good as Capriccio di Mare, but what it doesnât have in pure quality it more than makes up in charm. We had such a lovely lunch there that we came back for dinner on Friday, which was a very different picture. On Friday night it was full and the waiters were racing around trying to keep all the plates spinning. We still had a nice meal and it hadnât lost its charm. For dinner instead we opted for pizzas' which werenât as good as La Grecale down the road, but weâd chose this place anytime.Lovely place, a shame we left the area now
