The foods pretty good but...and it’s a big but!
Reviewed By Salvatore CThey charged us 8 euro (2 euros per head) coperto to eat dinner and I suppose it’s not unheard of but, as a guest of the hotel, I was surprised to see that charge on my bill. I mean, it’s the hotels restaurant and, it does get busy with locals and other vacationers from near by rental properties, but again, we were paying guests of the hotel!! The matrimonial bed was two twin beds pushed together and where very uncomfortable. Small tv over the bunk beds. The ladder of the bunk beds was not secure and my daughter almost fell several times! At least the the lower bunk bed was not bad. What else...not a service oriented hotel! Maybe their not use to receiving Canadian travellers cause they sure made us feel like outsiders. Maybe they prefer locals...? The beach is ok but not for small kids!! The sea was a bit rough and a lot of debris in the water, but if you walk about 100 meters up from this hotel, not as much Debris. Amenities are few! On this long strip of beach, this hotel & restaurant and bar about 200 meters up the road and that’s it. I don’t know what I’d do without my car rental!! Hmmm...what else...had some trouble with the window blind, and when I told the owner, she said she’d send someone tomorrow, I guess cause it was evening, but it was night and the blinds were wide open! That, on top of everything else is why I’m writing this review. Oh ya, then there’s another guest who complains about the noise...??? We’re on vacation!!! What the h___ is he doing in a hotel in a beach town in the middle of summer??? Meanwhile it’s 2am and there’s a screaming baby and I don’t hear a peep from him??? My kids make a little noise a 10pm and he throws a fit. Nice view of Mt Etna!

Reviewed By Nadia CWe stayed here two weeks ago with my kids . it was a very cosy place where to stay and relax. It is very close to Siracusa and Catania .the house is by the sea and very comfortable with all you need to live.

Reviewed By umbertolm2015Bisogna percorrere 800 metri di strada sterrata per raggiungere la villa, e da lì affacciarsi dall'alto su uno spettacolare panorama sul mare, Catania e sull'Etna a far da sfondo. Di recente realizzazione sono le 5 camere tutte dotate di bagno privato (a corredo un solo set di asciugamani a settimana), climatizzatore e tv e, sullo stesso piano, anche la lavanderia e la sauna. Il resto della casa al piano di sopra porta con sé, senza nasconderli, sfacciatamente, il peso degli anni e della polvere accumulata. Una piscina (5 x 10) a disposizione degli ospiti, trattata solo con cloro e retino. Il gentile benvenuto con prosecco, cesto di frutta e gelati in frigo, come anche il buon Wi-Fi, non compensano minimamente la forte distanza dagli standard minimi di igiene e freschezza che ci si aspetterebbe.

Bella posizione, ma poco confortevole
Reviewed By sparra2015Il B&B affaccia direttamente sulla spiaggia, molto comodo per l estate La palazzina però avrebbe bisogno di essere ammodernata, il portone arrugginito chiude a fatica, i mobili sono un po' datati. La colazione prevede una scorta di merende, succhi di frutta e bustine di the alla consegna dell alloggio, niente di fresco... Peccato, considerando le bontà culinarie siciliane...
