Cheap and very basic, needs a refurb. Not well maintained so ‘feels’ dirty. Beds are very hard and uncomfortable. The owner is grumpy, don’t ask him for anything! Bar shut early 5-6pm and Wi-Fi is not available in rooms or sun beds, only at the bar which shut early every evening at about 6pm. I slipped in wet corridor as the cleaner washed the floor and in your room and there’s no signs up so please be careful. Of course there’s no accident book. Although it wasn’t dear it truly wasn’t worth it. The only upside is that the guests I met were lovely and they all shared the same opinion. Look for somewhere better.

Every review I write from my week in Aghios Georgios South will start with the same words. In a relatively sleepy, marvelously Greek and linear beach resort full of rustic charm, it is also very obvious it is understandably doing its utmost to recover after covid. That means many restaurants, cafes, bars and tavernas are closed, empty or struggling with the few people on their holidays as a degree of normality slowly returns. But this will improve of course and I highly recommend you come here. Consequently all my reviews, you need to take the above into account. Panorama was the first I visited for evening dinner and is probably a classic case in point. Made very welcome and with a table overlooking the Ionian Sea was an excellent start. And like in every restaurant in Greece if you are a lover of warm pitta and dips such as taramasalata and tzatziki you will not be disappointed. And you will struggle to find better feta cheese anywhere in the world. But despite it being recommended Panorama's red wine was bordering on undrinkable, cloudy and vinegar like. The seabass was very dry, vegetables so massively overcooked and mushy that if it was your first impression they could be enough to put you off ordering any for the rest of your holiday and prawn saganaki edible. But overall never at any stage did it make me feel like I want to come back. But it was ok. And with more patrons and atmosphere as the situation improves I have no doubt it will get better. So please go and form your own impression.

Our complex, which many people have called “a small paradise”, is situated just 300 meters away from the magnificent beach of Agios Georgios Pagon in northwest Corfu. Our complex is surrounded by a well tended garden full of beautiful flowers and shady trees that relax the eye and give every visitor a sense of relaxation, care free and escape.
We stayed at Kostas for 5 nights. Firstly Agios Georgios is a stunning location, perfectly tucked away from the bigger resorts, surrounded by amazing mountains, a bay and a long sandy beach. The apartments are less than 5 min walk to the beach, and there is a large array of shops, restaurants and bars. The building itself is surrounded by a lovely little garden filled with communal seating. The bedroom is a good size with all the amenities you could need, small stove, fridge, kettle, coffee machine, mosquito nets, TV and air conditioning. We also had our own private balcony with plenty of room for drying clothes The rooms were clean and well maintained, and towels were changed every two days. Christina and her family were extremely warm and friendly hosts. They made us feel very welcome and were happy to help with any request we had. It's a great stay in itself, but the affordable price made it an absolute bargain. Would recommend highly to anyone visiting the island

Dzięki szybkiej reakcji Andriany odzyskałem kasę za odwołany wyjazd. Tylko covid i zamknięte granice mógł mnie zmusić do rezygnacji. Właścicielka nie musiała, ale chciała pomóc. Korespondencja odbierana od razu, świetny kontakt. Dziękuję:)

An amazing, cozy, laid back small hotel in the most wonderful setting at the very end of Agios Georgios. Dinos and Dimitri make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The hotel is situated literally on the idyllic beach so you can swim and flop back on the sun loungers and even have a lunchtime snack and drink in the shady terrace. Although we don’t eat breakfast, it’s offered as well and looks tasty. You do need a car to appreciate the area but if you just want a pure rest then this is your secluded gateway. It’s our fourth time in Corfu but we always stayed in Benitses however this part of the island is much less commercial. We will certainly be back.

When we 1st got there we couldn't get in our room because of the dodgy handle so George went & got a ladder to get in he turned the handle a few times and said its ok..... Just to be on the safe side I went in the room & my partner tried again & now I was locked in the room we heard rumors of the owner helping herself to things in the fridge not ours also the cleaning of the room was questionably & no towel change but if you want to use as just a base then it's ok ish

I never ever wrote a bad review in my life, but i have the feeling that i should warn people out there. My friends and I had two rooms with two beds each. The appartments were runned by an elderly, nice couple, with poor english. Or at least they acted like that, which I will write about later. At first, we were a little shocked because we didn't expect the appartments to be that remote (15 minutes walk to the beach) and also the rooms were more than basic (only kitchen-stuff available were two glasses, a sink and a fridge - no cleaning stuff, notging heat up food). Also two bed-sheets had blood-stains on it and generally it looked quite old and used (showers barley worked well, one toilet couldn't flush at some point, no electricity for a few hours at day one, etc.). Also the air-conditioning is not included (6€/day) and there are tons of mosquitos which prevented me from sleeping the first days (it took as a while to find a proper-working repel against them). We thought 'ok, at least it is cheap', our expectations were quite low anyway, the pool was really nice and also the owners seemed to be quite gentle. So 4/5 stars until now, because the cost-value ratio was honestly still ok and as long as the owners were nice, I would even feel a little a little sorry for them, that they can't provide better accomodation. But these thoughts would chance soon. So the point that made our stay in the appartment that bad, were in the end the owners. On the first day, we consumed lunch and a few drinks at the hotel-bar, which was probably the reason, why they behaved so friendly. But as soon as we started to consume stuff from the local supermarkets instead, they started to get rude. We were not allowed to drink our own drinks at the hotel pool and the owner was not telling that gently, but screaming at us right away. They only gave us toilet paper, clean glasses, etc. after long (and loud) dicussions. They shouted, that we should buy cleaning stuff/toilet paper from the supermarket, if we need it. Also the owner told me very rude, that if we want to eat something, we should generelly do it in their bar. Also these people act like they don't understand english, but at least the woman understands it good enough. I told her at one point 'don't act, as if you don't understand english, i know you do' which magically made her look shocked and stop screaming at me for a few seconds. For me personally the worst thing was reading reviews about them stealing stuff from other guests. So I would not leave the appartments again, without photographing my belongings and putting a sock or something closely behind the door, so I could see if somebody entered the room or not. At some point, we started to drink a beer when we stayed at the pool, because we didn't want these fights in our holidays and I personally was quite scared of them. Also I stopped asking them for stuff like fresh glasses. They started to act nicer again. So I would not recommend anybody to stay there. It was the cheapest appartments we could find, but I learned my lesson to read the reviews about the accomodation properly next time and invest a few euros more in a better appartment, if so. I did not feel save there. And I have stayed at a lot of places, cheaper too, but I never had a bad experince like that.
