A little gem in a little gem of a town
Had a few meals here and food is good. However they cater for coach parties and 'end of cruise' "yachtees".Beware of eating here when one of these events is occurring!!
The waiting staff are totally concerned with catering for these groups and will ignore the couples waiting to be served. We went the last evening of our holiday looking for a pasta meal and the waitress showing us the menu assured us the pasta was excellent. We ordered wine which was bought quickly then the waiter came to take our order and we were told 'no pasta' in quite an abrupt manner. Plenty of other good restaurants in the village!

Food was good, nothing spectacular however, right on the harbour front so they are well located, recommend the seafood pasta and of course the obligatory Greek salads. Well with dining here.

Cool place to have coffee, drinks and snacks. Clean and relaxed with great view of the harbour. Very cold beers which is welcome on a hot day.
Very pleasant Hoxton-type beardy serves you and he is very attentive and knowledgeable. Very nice strong coffee and well-presented food.
Excellent place to relax and while away an evening.

We were looking forward to our meal here, primarily as it was Greek music night so hoping for the full experience. However, we were left feeling disappointed. Firstly, the young blonde waitress does not do the restaurant any favours - she is really 'over friendly' to the point of uncomfortable and it does not set a good impression to be chewing gum while she takes your order!
That aside, I ordered the lamb, which I was told was a special and is one of my favourites when I visit Greece. It was awful! I don't know how they managed to get it so wrong. Basically, a few chips and lamb (dry, chewy and over salted) stuck on a plate. No presentation, no seasoning (other than copious amounts of salt) - was supposed to come with salad but I had to ask for this as an extra. Another lady did spot that I was not impressed and, in fairness, changed my meal to moussaka (I thought this was safer!) It was nice and the 2 stars is for that. Otherwise, worst meal we had during our stay and wouldn't return when there are others doing it better.

We had dinner here 3 times in our week stay and the food was beautiful. Staff are very friendly and the views are stunning across the sea. Definatly pay a visit here you won't regret it.

great bakery, ice creak palour and so much more, shops all over kefalonia and Ithaki
We came late afternoon at end of season. I think we were the only people there. Service was very very friendly and polite from a young woman (speaks great English and told us about wedding drive-by processions) and then from a man who brought us the delicious goodies. Go inside and see the wonderful baklavas and other honey dripping cakes, chocolates etc etc. The ice cream was amongst the best we've ever had (whether in Italy, USA or wherever). Biggest problem was how much of this lovely food you could reasonably eat in one go. Saw turtles in the bay from our table. Why doesn't this wonderful bakery have a London branch?!

We stopped here for a quick drink on our tour of the island. Very friendly staff and the best latte on my holiday so far! The latte was €3 and small beer €2. Will return if in the area again.

Went here based on reviews. Why is this rated highly? Awful service. Dry chicken souvlaki and we had lots in our 3 weeks in kefalonia! Steak cooked as ordered medium but tasteless and like rubber. Greasy chips. Worst meal we had whole holiday and one of most expensive. No atmosphere. Give it a miss. Table next to us agreed!

Madam and myself (aged nearly fifty) visited this establishment twice during our week long stay in Agia Efimia.
On each occasion we left on good terms, arm in arm looking forward to spending the following day in each other's company on one of the nearby Beaches.
Which for us is a sign of a good meal.
In previous years on other Islands, we've dined disastrously, and the following day's beach based discourse has been a tad terse with numerous awkward silences,
but no danger of that occurring following a visit to this establishment.
The Rabbit Stifado is a particular triumph that will live long in the memory.
