Soak up the sun on the well-maintained beaches of Agadir, southern Morocco's most-visited city. Palm-lined boulevards and beachfront bars add a decidedly Western-resort feel, amplified by the large number of Europeans who flock here in the winter months. It’s all about laid-back relaxation in Agadir, so ride a camel, rent a beach buggy, check out the Suq al-Had market or take the 20-minute walk up to the ruins of the Agadir Kasbah for expansive city views if you’re taking a break from the beach.

Just spent a few days in Sofines aparthotel. The apartment was spacious and very clean. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The kitchen was very well equipped and everything was excellent quality. I was on holiday with my brother and we both felt that we were made to feel very welcome.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME COMING HERE. This place is an absolute joke - the only good thing was that the staff in the restaurant were lovely people and were very attentive On arrival - the lady at the check out was being shouted at by another member of staff, I presume for taking to long to deal with my booking. Anyway a guy came over I think he must have been the manager and he said “I bring you to room, if it’s not okay we will change tomorrow” from then I knew it wasn’t going to be good. I am far from a fussy person and had not a problem with the basicness of the room. However I OPENED THE FRIDGE AND IT HAD OLD MOULDY FOOD IN IT AND IT STANK. I tried to get my room changed however was told that nothing could be done until tomorrow. I then asked the manager to come and have a look and smell for himself, he came reluctantly, his staff member accused the food of being mine. He then abruptly began to remove the fridge from the room saying “it’s good now” I let him know thag this was unacceptable - he kept saying we change room tomorrow however I said I wasn’t willing to stay in the room. He gave me another room. Which was better however when he left I realised the shower had no shower head, the toilet was rocky. At this time it was about 1am. I couldn’t be bothered to deal with his nasty attitude anymore. So I stayed in the room WAS UP ALL NIGHT BECAUSE I WAS SO UNCOMFORTABLE. anyways. I booked another hotel. The Atlantic palace. WHICH IS AMAZING. don’t bother staying here it’s nasty, staff are rude and unhelpful and it’s just not worth the hassle. Spend a little more for a positive experience.

This hotel is old and needs serious repair jobs, there are broken tiles in the corridors, sockets coming off the walls. the rooms smell of smoke. There is no breakfast buffet, each guest is given a tray with dry bread, a croissant, butter, jam and a boiled egg. The worst thing is the night club which has live, screaming music from 10pm to 5 am, the walls in my room were shaking with the noise, when I complained the staff told me they were well aware of this problem. I would only recommend this place to my worst enemy, The only positive things is the pleasant, professional staff who probably can not wait to move on

Situated in the heart of the city of agadir offring 36 verry large appartements of 100 m² 2 bedrooms 2living rooms 2 bathrooms and large equiped kichen each .
The apartment is dirty ( floor with too much dust, they didn’t change the bed sheets from previous clients, some spiders in the seeling toilet is very dirty) no towel, hand soap provided, housekeeping they never come to clean if you didn’t ask and even you ask they don’t make it properly ( toilet and sink never been cleaned), the kitchen utensils most of them are broken and they still using it, very noisy we couldn’t sleep in the night as the music and the voice from the neighbors is vey loud even we complain but still they didn’t respect our privacy. I don’t recommend this place to families even the apartment is big but not comfortable, the WiFi signal is terrible. Management should have attention to details as so many things need to be repaired, the only good things i found there is the location and the staff in the reception, they’re very friendly and helpful.

Spent a couple of nights in this hotel, very quite, clean and nice, very good location, restaurants, banks, markets are all few minutes walk. Our room has a balcony with a good view of the city and the sea. The gentleman in the reception is friendly. I will be back.
